but well, ive never made teams for them. just compared them to Pokémon though. Hazamada reminds me of a Banette. and Shakuyaku resembles a Gardevoir. but she also reminds me of Dragonite, like big but gentle Pokémon...

but if they had teams... i think Hazamada would be either ghost/dark and Shakuyaku would be fairy/psychic types.

of course, hello yoma. it's the third time i'm writing this because tumblr app doesn't stop randomly lagging in my phone 💔

🫧 What summer activities do you two do?

personally, i think that Hazamada and Shakuyaku would rather spend their summer mostly at either of their houses/bedroom, reading manga/watching anime, sleeping together (sadly not cuddling since we're talking about summer, IMAGINE the temperature).

but outside their home, i really imagine them doing summer activities such as:

going to a summer festival/matsuri, like uhh... you see in those generic romcom animes... but i like the festivals yeah?

going to a tanabata festival (because i searched and in Sendai, they happen during the summer. and guess which city Morioh was based off? that's right, Sendai!)

enjoy fireworks... or not. as much as they're beautiful, neither Hazamada nor Shakuyaku like loud noises (projection), neither think it would be a good idea.

Shakuyaku probably wishes to traverse the Japanese alps but they probably wouldn't do that. they live in Morioh 💔 how would they randomly go to the fucking alps 💔

... MAYBE they would go the beach or at least to some public pool. at beach, they probably would do that smashing watermelon thing?

eat seasonal foods such as kakigori (shaved ice cream and oh my god i'd LOVE to eat that)

and i think that's all? i think that's what they would do. but the matsuri, tanabata and the staying-at-home options are more probable.

as stated before in this ask, Hazamada would wear basic swimming trunks... although i can also see him wearing those swimsuits made for kids that have some famous manga character printed on it. he would have a Pink Dark Boy one of something (also he's tiny, it would fit perfectly on him too lmao)

while Shakuyaku, i stated she would wear anything frilly and yeah that's still true. either swimdresses (i found out the name) or a bikini with those skirt looking bottoms. i have no idea how those are called

like these. second picture was used in the last ask too lol. but i think she'd go for polka-dot patterned swimdresses specifically, like in the first picture.

and maybe with the color scheme of the second swimsuit? it resembles a lot like straciatella ice cream or a mix of chocolate and vanilla... very sweet like. maybe she would also go for a brown/pink combo too! maybe mint/brown too!!!

pretty sure Shakuyaku would get either mint chocolate or straciatella (i guess that's how it's called) ice cream. mostly mint chocolate because it's one of my favorite flavors...

i headcanon him to be lactose intolerant... ohhh... i think he'd either go for lactose free ice cream or he would just take the risk.

well... they fu—

they rest under the sunshade, probably talking aboout something random. i don't think either of them enjoy staying on the sunlight for too long... too hot, neither of them enjoy the heat...

or they would prefer to enter the water, it's at least a little more refreshing than the sand.

maybe they wouldn't even go to the beach, Hazamada and Shakuyaku prefer 100x being together at home reading manga than going to the beach clogged with sweaty people.

although Hazamada wouldn't mind to see his girlfriend all tanned...

hmm... i remember having this conversation with a friend once and we concluded Hazamada would be like a sea urchin perhaps? or maybe a male seahorse, that's funny too.

while Shakuyaku, hmm... i can really see her being an octopus... or maybe a sea turtle too... maybe even a porpoise.

they wouldn't match in the slightest. because Shakuyaku loves to wear more lacy/frilly swimsuits while Hazamada would wear basic swimming trunks.

i think Shakuyaku's swimsuits would be like, those one-piece swimsuits that are similar to dresses, OR two-piece swimsuits which the bottom looks a lot like a skirt.

maybe i associate him with Happy ni Naritai (I Want to be Happy) too, also by Nanawo Akari. it's a good song but if you're going to listen please keep in mind the song/music video have sensitive themes such as depression and suicide

25. how do you take care of each other when sick?

for when Hazamada is sick, Shakuyaku would visit him frequently at home/hospital, bringing food, trinkets (either bought of handmade), etc.

in fact... i still have to write this in more details, but... when Hazamada was at the hospital (after that beating he got in the end of his debut episode, episode 7), Shakuyaku would have visited him very frequently at the hospital, bringing him things such as gifts (again, either handmade or bought from stores), food and... even a volume of Pink Dark Boy that came out while he was sick. of course, he was so happy with this...

Hazamada wasn't used in the slightest to have a girl caring for him. especially if the girl in question is Yukari Shakuyaku, who's a popular student YET someone he deemed as slightly weird for being quiet and having an... "unappealing" body shape.

but actually, turns out she's not as bad as he thought.

uh. sorry for the rambling. let's get to the next one.

now, for when Shakuyaku is sick, Hazamada decides to retrieve the favor she did to him while he was at the hospital.

one type of thing that she usually gets that is SO bad it makes her stay home is... cramps. her menstrual cramps in particular are extremely strong. so sometimes during these days, Hazamada decides to visit her, even skipping class to see her. he does what she did to him, bringing her some food he tried to cooked himself, some gifts, even some of her favorite shoujo manga.

he even decided to search more about what he could bring to her, like pills (?) he could use to alleviate the pain, food she can or cannot eat during her periods, etc.

and it's something that makes him feel... good. it's good to see her smile even if it's a little bit. he knows how rare they are, so all he has to do is cherish all the times she flashes a grin.

sometimes she even lets him stay on her bed, just asking him to be careful and not hurt her.

its a good experience. he feels happy. honestly, Hazamada doesn't know what he had in his head before, thinking in her as weird and ugly? he was crazy back then...

Hazamada and Shakuyaku going to the theater to watch an horror movie together, even if she's not really a fan of the genre.

Shakuyaku is dressed up in a white, delicate lolita dress while Hazamada is dressed in baggy jeans and a hentai t-shirt.

the movie isn't really scary. neither of them are scared actually. Shakuyaku just feels really bad for the characters being killed.

she holds onto her boyfriend, resting her face on his hair and saying "protect me, Toshi..." in the most monotone voice possible (and Hazamada absolutely relishes the moment).

when they leave the theater, neither can't help but laugh together. that movie was so lame!

they watched it together though. that made the session at least a little tolerable good.
