Reblog again.
And may I just say, the final thing that made Dinah not to kill Laurel, was because Curtis told her not to be like Oliver? WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT. This is just crossing a line.
Ok, can we just talk about how ridiculous the fact that team arrow #2 is not only not being apologetic, but somehow think that Oliver, Felicity and Diggle somehow owe them something? I just can’t wrap my mind about it.
First of all, Rene BETRAYED the team. Yes, he thought it didn’t make a difference whether he agreed to testify or not because he was up against a terrifying and damn good federal agent, and yes, he was choosing between the team and the possibility that he might never see his little girl again, it was an impossible choice. But he made the choice. Maybe in most of our lives, it’s something we could have forgiven, because most of the times, it’s not a life or death situation. But choosing to be the Wild Dog? He knew what he signed up for, and betraying is NEVER an option.
Second of all, the rest of the team LEFT because what? Thieir pride was wounded? They were feeling insecure? Their civilian right was harmed? Give me a break. Yes, maybe Oliver could have asked them directly before taking action, but it’s really not a big deal, man. Desperate times call for desperate measures. It was the right call. And can they honestly say that they deserve to be trusted more than they do? Fact: Rene betray the team. Fact: Dinah would have trusted her ex anyway even if he wasn’t to be trusted. So they deserved to be investigated. And damn right there’s 0 possibility that it was Oliver, Felicity or Diggle that betrayed the team. Trust is earned. And the newbies? They’re not there yet.
Third. They left in the middle of the WAR. Yes, make no mistake, they’re at war with Cayden James. And these 3 can’t even swallow their pride to do what’s best for the city. They are already out numbered. And still they had to set up a new team where they get to make the calls. Even after Oliver asked them to come back, after he APOLOGISED. God bless this man, why on earth did he have to apologise? He did what a leader should do. There was a problem, and he dealt with it. Even he was wiling to work with the man that betrayed him, the man that could have cost William a father, for the sake of the city. Why can’t them?
So I was really mad when Rene was being all “the only reason we’re here is because you have the tech and we have the inside man” and “can we not leave already, I cannot stand being here a minute longer”. Fuck you, man.
