I drew for the role swap AU designed by Dine (@DIDI_en_ilu on twitter)!! I couldn't get her Zelink designs out of my head, so please have guard Zelda accidentally kabedonning twinky prince Link🥳

I like that Dine's knight Zelda's hair style reminds me of Zelda from Echoes of Wisdom 🥺

I've been seeing a lot of different iterations of role swap AU's and I love them all!!

Summary:

Metal scraped loudly, as Revali prodded his talons at the chains binding the unconscious body on the ground.

The swordsman lay still, crumpled in a heap of bloody mess. He did not stir.

“I don’t know if this is a good idea, princess,” Daruk rubbed the back of his neck, hesitant.

"He’s right, little bird,” Urbosa sighed. “This is too dangerous. Any risk to your safety is not worth it.”

“We have to kill him while we still have the chance. He almost killed all of us!" Revali hissed, curling his wingtips into a tight fist.

Tension hung like a guillotine blade in the air. Thick, and suffocating.

“Least of all,” Revali spat, “we are not taking him with us.”

[In which Link was raised as Ganon’s right hand man, but Zelda and the Champions snatch him away.]

I drew more pages! AU in which Link was raised as Ganon's right hand man and is sent after Zelda & the Champions.

Link's armor is inspired by Gerudo voe set & TOTK Ganon outfit.

He wields the gloom sword but it drains him. (He's also not very good at being the bad guy lol)

Zelda keeps hearing about this dangerous gloom swordsman after her life, except he completely flubs the chance to kill her cus he was caught off guard😂

The Champions are very guarded around amnesiac Link. Revali HATES him so much (this bastard doesn't deserve to be the chosen hero after everything he's done) but eventually they kind of warm up to him... slowly...

Link without memories kind of latches onto Zelda like an imprinted chick. She's DYING to ask him why he spared her back then but woops he doesn't remember anything.

Which is the perfect timing for Link to regain his memories yay

(Cue Link pretending he doesn't remember anything yet just so he can stay a little longer with Zelda.)

This AU brainworm bit me so bad I am thinking of writing it!! I need a name for this au

AU in which Link was raised by Ganon & meets Zelda for the first time

I had fun designing emo chunibyo Link! Inspired by TOTK Ganondorf's clothes and gerudo voe outfit - Link here mainly fights with gloom sword (katana style) but it weakens him 💔

He can control gloom to a certain degree but he also... isn't immune to it so he's perpetually gloom damaged rip😂

I want him to lose his memories in a fight and get adopted by the champions, fall in love with Zelda, and defect!! Give me all the cliches!!

EDITED TO ADD:

Ganondorf is not very good in this AU!

He's a demon king in hiding, biding his time for conquest. He snatched up Link as a child & raised him to be a lonely henchman.

Ganon taught him everything Link knows (so he can be useful to Ganon) but Ganon definitely does not have Link's best interest in mind💔

Link & Zelda as kitties 🐈

They're being raised by their human selves at Hateno house post-botw probably

Maybe Princess got adopted first. She's elegant & knows how to play up her cuteness to get Zelink to give her attention. Often steals Zelda's ancient screws.

Wild follows Princess around for a while until Zelink end up adopting him too. He's very scruffy and scraggly (but gets super fluffy once he gets a bath)

I want to draw Zelda interacting with the kitties next!!

Sometimes Zelda wants to ravish her knight and other times she wants her knight to ravish her😳

He's eager to please...most of the time. It'd be funny if Link has a too much of a thin face (?) for Zelda's prince x maid rp idea
