okay but like can you imagine if instead of this we had to watch as zayn slowly started curling in on himself and looking worse and worse and then we’re hearing about him partying all the time and then people are gossiping about him doing drugs and then he’s in rehab and then he gets out and we think he’s going to be okay and then one day the headlines are telling us he died and we’re all wondering why it happened and how it got so bad 

like yeah its upsetting and you all absolutely have the right to be upset but look at what has happened to celebrities and singers in the past who weren’t cut out for the fame and who struggled with it and who received no sympathy from fans or their management

they die

they kill themselves or they overdose or they die of mysterious causes alone in hotel rooms

so yeah i’m sad 

but it could have been so much worse

and i’m happy that he’s free

i hope that what you learn from this is to treat people with respect and kindness and grant them the privacy they deserve regardless of their profession. i hope it’s made you more aware of mental health and how important it is to not treat it lightly.

most of all i hope that this decision will help zayn be happy and well inshallah i’m proud of him for putting his health first and i wish nothing but the best for him.
