really weird watching people make AI accounts to make fun of radfems by copying large portions of their posts into nonsensical paragraphs, because they have this idea that radfems are evil transphobic bigots, but their ai generated posts tend to be on topics like domestic violence, female self-hatred, prostitution, how gender nonconformity personally benefitted the original author etc etc.
it just demonstrates that radfems are not hateful bigots, vast majority of our popular content is just… regular feminism. one of my posts which got absolutely consumed by these AI accounts literally started with “Stop hating your womb”.
what they’re trying to flood out, distract from, confuse etc is just feminism. they’re only trying to harass feminists. and they somehow ended up being their own proof of that

The year is 2032 and prostitution has been legalized but is ruled that it must be 100% OSHA compliant.
A john calls to make an appointment for a home visit but it’s after 4pm on a Friday and Monday is a union holiday. Frustrated he calls Tuesday and is told the soonest a technician can come out is next Wednesday between 9am and 2pm. When the next Wednesday finally comes, the technician shows up at 3:30pm in full Hazmat gear. His name is Mike and he’s 46 and married with two kids. By law, all he can safely provide is a dry hand job. He’s on a Bluetooth call arguing with his brother in law about a truck the entire time. It hurts a lot and costs $1100.
Edit: this escaped containment and I’m getting filthy MAGA bros thinking this is a joke about government overreach and brain dead libs that think it’s a joke about how silly it is to try and protect “sex workers”.
I’m a radical feminist and this joke hates men, hates sex “positivity” that is actually just sexual exploitation of women, and rapist johns. Everyone that purchases sex is a rapist and everyone that defends the sex industry is a rape enabler.

archive: Simple Tutorial for people starting out with making personal offline archives of websites as WACZ & WARC Files!
this is an archive of this post.
-----------------------------
Here's a simple tutorial of how to create your own personal offiline archives of any ANY website at all ( with the exception of Discord and the like ) and share it with others if you so wish too!
First you start up with making a WACZ or WARC File!
There are many ways of creating them but for now let us start with something simple!
Just copy and paste the site you want to archive in this Express ArchiveWeb site here and then download the archive! : https://express.archiveweb.page
That site will give you a WACZ File of the site you copied and pasted into it!
To open the WACZ File and see the archived content you can use this other ReplayWeb site here : https://replayweb.page/
Just choose the WACZ File on your device and then click on Load and there you go!
Now just click on your loaded archive and you can see everything in it! :)
If you wanna share your archives with someone you can either send them the WACZ File so they can download it and load it on ReplayWeb themselves on a site like Wormhole : https://wormhole.app/
Or you can host the archives somewhere online like on Glitch here! : https://ovarit.com/o/STEM/510775/host-your-own-web-archives-on-glitch
Glitch will let you host a project and share the link with anyone you want for free for 5 days without an account!
If you want something more permanent try making an account on Glitch!
It is a good idea to make a personal archive of something if you consider it important as even websites like the Wayback Machine sometimes delete stuff ( like the Fruit Farms apparently... ) ...
Have fun! :)

this is very similar to my view. humans are supposed to be omnivorous, so we should eat some meat and animal products.
additionally, it's easier to get iron in your diet from eating red meat. that's especially important for women who lose blood each month. I still have to take iron supplements too, but I wouldn't be doing myself any favors by not eating meat.
Some radfems seem to feel that veganism is tied in with feminism.
Please elaborate!

The "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" trope is essentially when a really fascinating, quirky, wild-and-free woman is wasting her time with a basic, boring, normie male. In every single movie with this dynamic, I've felt the woman was light years out of his league and that the story would be better without their relationship. The uninspired male characters diminish the light and fire of these women who are VASTLY more vital and alive than the male could ever dream of being.
I love the Manic Pixie type of character (and I quite relate to it) and I'd love to see whole movies about these women and their lives, but without any man or love interest in it whatsoever. I just want to see their adventures, the things they do with their friends, their odd hobbies (like Clementine from Eternal Sunshine making her potato dolls) and I want to hear their musings and journal entries, because they have unique outlooks on life.
I also would like to see women in real life embracing more of their inner Manic Pixie - the weirdness, spontaneity, creativity, and freedom - without males anywhere in the picture.

justice for the substance indeed. I really hoped it would win something in one of the more major categories like best director or best actress, but it didn't.
I haven't watched anora. I kind of want to watch it out of morbid curiosity tho, since it did end up winning multiple oscars. it'll probably be mid or even bad, but meh, if I have a couple hours when I'm bored...
Anora is truly such a mid film and it basically sweeping the awards is making me feel like a crazy person. Truly a film that has nothing of interest to say. It doesn't commit enough to be outwardly critical of sex work, but isn't glamorous enough to be pro sex work. It doesn't explore the world it is in enough to be slice of life, but isn't character drive enough to be a study beyond stereotypes. Idk how anyone can win an Oscar for a character with no discernable personality but that's another post.
I've seen people happy that they screened it earlier for sex workers, but honestly that screams awkward to me just bc I don't even know what message a regular audience member is meant to take away from this film, let alone actual SWs.
It isn't anyone who worked on the film's fault, but Anora is so symptomatic of the weird phase the film industry is in, where the overall quality of everything is low so every big award win seems off/a bit undeserved. In Normal Film Times ™️ Anora would probably have been nominated for some small stuff for writing and maybe the acting & everyone would of said it was a nice indie adjacent type of movie, but that would be it.
It's like everything has a lack of substance (no pun intended) and is either milking IP to death or has nothing to say. I watch films from the last 3/4 years and am that scene from himym where Barney is yelling tell people what?? tell people what?? over and over again.

archive: Traffic and Fundraising Stats Super Update for May, June, July, August, and September
this is an archive of a post, the stats are for these months in 2024. that was the most recent time the website's stats were posted. I had to reformat and type the actual stats because tumblr doesn't support tables. even tho it's more awkward to read that way :/
-----
Here is a super-update on the stats for the last five months. I apologize for not getting these out each month like before! It's really important to me to give you this information but it does take a real chunk of time, and I haven't been able to do it all until now.
Thank you to everyone who has donated. As I can never emphasize enough, we cannot run this site without your help. As most of you who've been around a while know, we ran for nearly two years before we started requesting donations, and we're still trying to raise funds to cover those prior expenses as well as cover our ongoing costs. We're so close to hitting that goal, but we need to raise more than we spend on ongoing costs to get there. That is why our fundraising goal is set to $1500 a month.
The average daily cost of running this site this year is about $34. If you've donated $34 you've sponsored the site for everyone for a day! That's a lot less than it would cost for us to all buy a drink together.
Since we started tracking, we've had around 75,000 page views per day (about 2 million to 2.5 million per month). About 75% of our traffic comes from people who aren't logged in. Between that and our invite code requests we know that this site has a much bigger impact than just for our registered users. If you don't have an account, you can donate to us via our Substack.
Fundraising stats
May: 71 subscribers, 10 one-time donators, 5 substack donators, $1,424 donations raised on site
June: 71 subscribers, 11 one-time donations, 5 substack donators, $1,520 donations raised on site
July: 67 subscribers, 8 one-time donators, 3 substack donators, $1,204 donations raised on site
August: 68 subscribers, 7 one-time donators, 4 substack donators, $1,069 donations raised on site
September: 68 subscribers, 6 one-time donators, 4 substack donators, $976 donations raised on site
Basic site stats

it should be pretty easy to find! it's not one of the most obscure shapes compared to some I've seen. I want radiatore to be more common bc i don't think my usual supermarket carries it

communities?
it's been years since I last used tumblr, so there are some new features now. the basic format is the same though, so it's kind of like rediscovering an old shirt you don't wear anymore and trying it on again.
the communities feature looks like it may be promising, and I might try to set one of those up and get it running after this blog gets on its feet.
tumblr provides some guidelines for admins and mods of communities: https://help.tumblr.com/knowledge-base/moderating-communities/
and a description of what the communities feature is: https://help.tumblr.com/knowledge-base/communities/
I'm interested in the sociology of online spaces, so if I were to admin and mod a community, trust that I'd do my best to keep things running smoothly and garner the trust of those who participate in the community. I want to read more about the sociology of online spaces in the near future, so google scholar (and sci-hub) here I come lol

How to get rid of the spam bots
The only way to get rid of all the spam in the radical feminist hashtags is to report and block them. Tumblr support has been contacted by both me and many others and they have no ETA of when or how they will get rid and prevent them. Blocking them will eliminate them from showing in your home feed and and the hashtag itself. I am updating regularly.
