The H Factor - An MCC Hype Event: FAQ/Rules

1. When is it?

October 16 - October 22. Yes it starts tomorrow.

2. Who's running the blog?

Our lovely admins team: @a-wild-rosette @tissue-4-my-issues @sweet-razz-tea

3. How can I join?

Post your works (or the link to your works) onto Tumblr. Use the tag #thehfactor and/or tag us to be featured on our blog. Our ask box and submission box are also opened [here]

We do ask that our participating post to NOT tag it with the “m//inecraft championship” tag because it will show up in the main tag for the game. Instead, please use #MCC for tagging. 

4. Are there any requirements to participate in the events?

There are no sign up needed! All you need to do is to post and/or submit your posts and we'll take it from there.

5. What can I contribute?

Any type of contents that involves HBomb in MCC! Arts, fics, headcanons, playlists, clay figures etc! 

It doesn't even have to be a creative project! Anything that shows we love and appreciate him is welcomed :D You can gush about him or talk about things that you love from his contents, that is totally awesome!

Still unsure about what you can do? Shoot us an ask explaining your plan, and we'll have the answer for you! We can also answer your ask privately if you need to!

6. Is this event only for MCC18 and the Green Goblins? 

Nope, not at all! You can make contents about any MCC you like, as long as it appreciates HBomb and his teams :D 

7. What tag should I use?

#thehfactor or tag us @hbombhotspott directly

8. Are there any rules?

In fact, yes! There are a couple of rules to make sure the event is enjoyable for everyone! 

- No plagiarism or manipulation of fan works that are not yours or you have been given clear permission to edit.

- Be respectful to H and other contents creators. Do not do anything that cross their boundaries. Do not be negative toward any content creators. Do not put down any teams/players to praise H’s teams. They are all friends here. 

- Do not tag as #m//inecraft championship or have the word m//inecraft in the tags. Do not clog the game tag with MCC/MCYT contents. 

- If you do not follow the rules, we will not reblog your submissions. Repeatedly breaking our rules will result in you being blocked from our blog and blacklisted from all our future events. Any negative talk on any other content creator will be an immediate ban.

An Hbomb/MCC Event??

In celebration of the coolest MCC team with Hbomb since MCC17, aka the Green Goblins, we are putting on a whole MCC-centric event :D

Yep yep, for the 7 days before MCC18 - which is on Saturday, October 23rd - we are gonna be hosting and reblogging all of your posts about Hbomb’s performance in MCC. There will be some prompts/inspirations coming out later this week, but there are no day-to-day prompts. We are giving you almost full range on what you want to talk, make arts, or simply just gush about :D 

The event will be from Saturday, October 16 to Friday, October 22. To be featured, tag us @hbombhotspot (yes, we changed our name, oops) and/or use the tag #thehfactor. If you waited for 2-3 days and you don’t see your post reblogged onto our blog, shoot us an ask or a submission to make sure we see your post.

A very late day 7 of HBomb week

Hope is a bitch.

Hope is the reason H is where he is right now. Drunk. Alone. And wanting for nothing more than to have his friends back.

H thought he had learned better, but no, here he was, sitting in his rocking chair, thinking about all of the things that he could’ve done in life.

Here he was, hoping that he could at least gain one friend on this hell hole that would stick by his side.

But he knows deep down that would never happen.

Like I said, hope is a bitch.

Today is the last “official” day of Hbomb Week 2021! And the prompt is Free Promp! You can do whatever you want with it!

HBomb Week ~ Day 5: Haven

Let's pretend I released this on the day I was supposed to.

Haven: a place of safety and refugee

H has always known chaos, no matter what world he was in. In the Cube and Harmony Hollow, there were massive prank wars, and in the Dream SMP, there was just insanity. While he may have felt safe in those places, he never truly was. He never felt 100% safe until he reached a new world away from all of these people. And that world, was Vault Hunters

Anyway, I love the catmaid bit. I love how it’s suggestive and embarrassing, but also consensual the whole time and very funny :D

Hbomb - The Heart of MCC

Written for @hbomb94week Day 6: Heart 

The H in H-tier stands for Heart. That’s it, that’s the secret to being in the H-tier. It’s not about H’s Minecraft skills (though it certainly helps a lot), it’s about how utterly positive and encouraging H is - so much that he uplifted his teammates, both in performance and spirit. 

The thing about MCC is that it’s all about teamwork. Yes, even the more individual games like TGTTOS or Ace Race. You help you teammates do well, and in turn your teammates help you. You go into MCC as a team, and you win as a team. If one teammate is feeling down, it’s very easy for the whole team to be affected by that mood. 

This is why Hbomb is so powerful in MCC. His positive attitude and energy is absolutely contagious, and it’s enough to cheer up *anyone* who teams with him. Throughout any MCC tournament (and any teamwork tournament, to be thorough), H always makes sure to uplift his teammates. Any talk of self-deprecation is immediately shut down, because no no, not on H’s watch. He is just so unabashedly confident in his teammates that it’s extremely hard to not do well AND HAVE FUN when you’re in his team. (His voice and laugh are also one of the best serotonin booster I have ever heard - no, I’m not biases, shut up /lh).  

Just look at him in MCC15, where his sole appearance - where just him joining the call and speaking up for *one* sentence - was enough to make Orange Ocelots’ mood significantly improve. From them speaking with very low energy, soft tones and quite a slow tempo, H coming in make them immediately perk up with a chorus of welcome to him. And so they made a comeback. They gained back their spirit, and ended up in 8th place. Not last, pog :D This isn’t even the first time it happens. Look at Orange Ocelots MCC12. Or Blue Bats MCC9. H’s team always exceeded expectation, and the fact that they are *his* teams is no coincidence.

Prompt for Day 5, "H is for Haven" is now up! A much smaller ficlet revolving around Vault Hunters and how much H finds it as a safe space (even though really all the Hunters just sort of spend their time in their base alone and only occasionally venture out)

I am so proud of this one!! The sun looks warm, the water is calm and it’s just… peaceful. It’s a haven :)

It’s supposed to be H’s village on the Dream SMP, but I also wanted to draw water, so… Let’s say the area is right next to an ocean :D
