I noticed you say to keep the dash clean but would reblogging HBO war posts such as gifs and what not pose a problem?

I mean, no, you’re free to reblog images and gifsets and whatever else you’d like but don’t flood the dash with it. It should be more roleplaying than anything going on.

Writing example (1-2 paragraphs):

He rarely closed his eyes anymore for more than a few brief seconds at a time. No matter how tired he was, he would not let himself succumb the the fatigue. He had to keep reminding himself that he was home now- he should be able to sleep now that he was in the comfort of his own bed in the home he had known for so long. He was safe now, and he should sleep.

When he did, he saw it all, saw it as vividly as if he was back on Peleliu. Seeing it all play out in his head once more, he did not know which was worse, remembering everything he saw or everything he heard. He remembered it all. The troops around him passed by in blurs, and he wished he could see their faces in his dream, wished he could remember if only for that brief moment what each of them had looked like. The men shouted in the distance, either frantically calling out orders to the other men or screaming in pain.

Even though it was all in his head, all just a bad dream, there was nothing he could do to stop it. He could not run to the men to help them. He could not stop to make sure the others around him were okay. As he stared out across the vast expanse of the island, all he could do was scream. Scream like the men trying to lead their troops to safety, scream like the men who were in pain and near death, scream like he had wished he could before- when he had been so scared that it would be him next laying out upon the dirt, praying to be back home. In his dream, he screamed and he screamed. For those he had lost, for those who would never come home, and for those who did. He screamed.

And then he woke up.

The dirt smothered on his face was almost a welcoming feeling. It felt like training all over again, but with a war that was very real. Dick sighed a bit and surveyed the set up camp that Easy managed to make. The men seemed at ease after the long battle of D-Day. It was a relief to be pulled out back to England though the offer seemed too good.

A few glances went the walking man’s way, but Winters needed the time to think about what was going on. Mostly it was about clearing his head. With everything happening, there was a challenge to have enough time to spare a short few minute stroll around. Europe was a monster that no man ever imagined.

Dick wished for a shower, but somehow he found it fit that there were no showers really during war. Your actions could never really be washed away.

If we want two characters is it okay to send in an app for the both of them or do we have to wait a certain amount of time before sending in another app?

Which two were you looking to apply for? :) I don't think it would be much of a problem, so long as you think you can be on both actively.

Will you have an ooc blog/chat? It will be easier to maintain contact/plot with others if you have one (it also eliminates the need to make ooc posts as well). I find it easier to make friends that way!!

I'm new to the whole running an RPG thing and having an admin would be really helpful, so if anyone would like to be one, please let me know! But I can create a chatzy maybe, if that would work?

It was cold in Louisiana when I got home.

Of course there wasn’t any snow, and a lot of the fellas would’ve laughed at me for shivering when I got off the train, but it was chilly enough to stir my skin. All the fantasizing I’d done during the Belgian winter did a lot of good.

I was supposed to stop by mama’s house, to tell her and everyone else that I’m home, I’m alright, but I walked past it without thinking and continued down the block. It’s still early; the dawn isn’t quite gray yet. I end up at the park I grew up playing at, staring at the cold metal swings.

Oooh, yay! I'm glad people are showing interest again. I'd like to stay in the group (Malarkey). It was a lot of fun and was a nice way to take a break from "the real world." :)

So, I'm going to try and bring this back, that being said every character is open and any of the members who were previously in the group and would like to remain in the group need to message me and let me know, but please do not take on a character if you do not think you're going to be active.

I think most have gone inactive/deleted tbh... Although I wouldn't be opposed to trying to get it back up and running again.
