neal, with tears in his eyes, yelling at peter “I did it for you” and peter at the end of the ep “you’re a criminal, and you can’t help yourself. shame on me for expecting anything else”.

(side note, i wish to GOD i enjoyed neal’s significant others on this show like, at all, but museum girl is just a bore?!? like her reaction to him telling her he was a criminal, which was to be like idc you’re hella hot and actually being a criminal sounds fun can i help pls, was 10/10 perfect but i just find the actress super bland and again, having little to no chemistry w/bomer. my kingdom to have sara only-good-love-interest ellis back.)

Picked White Collar back up after a brief hiatus and have now hit at least four actors from The Americans, including two in back to back episodes. I love when shows shoot in NYC and you can place them in a very specific time just based on the actors that pop up in one-off spots. (See also: several actors from Gossip Girl - so very here for the late aughts/early tens synergy.)

season 1 of white collar: silly men who should be enemies but are immediate bffs having fun while solving art forgeries and fraud cases

season 4 of white collar: peter is arrested for a murder committed by neal’s dirty cop, long lost father who threatens neal’s life to his face on his way out of town again forever

enjoyed the (low key) revelation near the end of season 4 that neal and sara are still hooking up (or hooking up again). like they are both hot and they have good chemistry and fun with each other and live unorthodox lives not terribly well suited for normal relationships, why wouldn’t they just fuck around when they have the time and inclination.

okay i actually need this entire show to just be this scene where el and neal are coaching peter and sara on how to look like they’re having an affair with each other. neal taking the pictures from the balcony like a creep and shouting out directions at sara while el yells at peter to get into it and where to move his hands and to pick sara up, like just 1000 hours of this please.
