The thing I miss most about the Ponniyin Selvan release times is the press meets and publicity. That was some real shit and I loved every bit of it, it was like mini award functions everytime because there were so many cast members and it was just so fun and the special guests and hype and just. Idk I love when the cinema industry gives the family vibes just being together and having fun.

I only watched the Sallen sneak, but I was happy to see it was pretty true blue Sallen. God, I'm gonna miss those knuckleheads. Kudos to the show for having such a great "guy" relationship where the men can talk about their feelings, even if it's just with each other. And they clearly know each other better than anybody else. It's just...so wonderful. And it's been there since Day Freaking One.

speaking of chinese horse memes this one is still my absolute favorite and at the risk of killing the joke by explaining it i must at least try to translate
loosely—
panel 1: 有句话不知当讲不当讲 (i have something to report but i don't know whether i should tell you or not)
panel 2: 马上讲 (tell me immediately)
panel 3: 之前的情报有误 (there was an error in an earlier report)
and the keywords here are 马上 in the second panel, which put together mean "immediately" but individually mean horse (马) and up or on (上)
so 马上讲 can both mean "tell me immediately" and, more literally, "tell me on the horse"

okay the bad part of having jesse plemons on the fnl podcast is now i want jesse plemons on the fnl podcast always. he was so much better than scott - my kingdom for a recap show that’s just matt and landry (and mae can stay).
(also jesse saying his happy place on the show was whenever landry was giving matt terrible advice 😭😭 SAME)
