oh boy, it uh. it’s been a little while, huh?

consider this blog to be on hiatus, and not inactive or dead. we plan to come back eventually to finish up tourny 3 and start tourny 4, too

we just haven’t been having as much fun with this blog recently. the initial break was unplanned, but we’ve noticed a bit of activity here, so we wanted to give an update to the folks that are still waiting for tourny 3 to continue

we’ll make another post once we’re ready to continue ^^

competitor one - headcanon that ford has spondylolisthesis (a spinal deformity that causes one vertebra to slip under/over another)

competitor two - headcanon that the mystery twins get phantom pains whenever the other is hurt

round three has drawn to a close, but before we post the next round- it has been brought to our attention that the 'fiddleford and tate make amends post-canon' headcanon is actually canon!

congrats to the submitter of that one, your headcanon came true!

however, it is unfair that something canon beat out two headcanons (ford has spondylolisthesis + the mystery twins get phantom pains whenever the other is hurt), so we should fix that. the headcanon going against 'fiddleford and tate make amends post-canon' this last round did win, so it will move on to round four regardless of what happens with the other two

here's our ideas:

we can add the headcanons that lost into round four as a tie (would make the polls a tad uneven and probably lead to some wonky matchups, but that could be fun. three-way poll/s are likely)

or

we can add the headcanons that lost into round four as a tie with the winning headcanon (would keep the polls even, no three-way polls)

or

we can do a poll to pit the two headcanons against each other and either have the winning one move on by itself or tie it with the headcanon that won this last round (would be the most confusing to figure out)
