Recruitment requirements: Complete "Friends in Low Places" questline, then speak with him at the given rendezvous.

Recruitment Dialogue: "I'd heard you'd signed on. Strange thing; having friends like you... to business. What's the job?"

Special Ability: [Senseless Mercies] - Once per round, upon defeating an enemy, Caine may use the same attack action against another target at no cost.

Equipment: Lined Jacket, Heavy Revolver, Malus (Enhanced Knife- deals always deals critical damage if it will finish an enemy.)

Since I'm told I draw facial expressions in an interesting way, I wrote down a bit about how I decide which lines to draw for eyes! I enjoy adding all the additional lines the surround the eyes in order to enhance the believability of emotion.

Caine lies quietly on the bed of his travel quarters, idly humming a foreign tune while flipping through a questionable magazine. His schedule dictates the next 'catalogue' arrives tonight- not an article to be left alone, inconspicuous as a white-faced, unmarked journal in a run-down hotel might be.

At the stroke of ten, when daylight has left and the world has quieted, a book of that very description would slide through the mail slot. Disgruntled by the interruption of his perusal, he nonetheless sets his preferred reading aside to collect the book.

Returning to his bedside, Caine flicks the book open.

"Place has a lot on offer... I wonder who's worth what?"

Ghost of Inhibition

A night meant as a nothing more than a kind gesture at first- offering solace to the cryptic man, swayed by an honest plea and a new, soon-fleeting feeling…

Now tense.

An idle conversation halted by the pressure of a steel barrel against her neck; his sultry, gravel tone whispering calm promises….

"Don't move… don't relax."

As he slides the weapon down her back- as Mich's breaths focus to a steady, slow pace- a hand folds around her throat; calloused fingers taking the measure of her neck. They feel the ridges of her diaphragm, the flow of air and a warm, quickening pulse. Caine's face comes near to Mich, his dark cologne cutting through the lingering scent of liquor and spice.

"Hello, Mich."

"I know you're not afraid."

"….Look at me."

Mich's gaze travels gently to meet his. The once-fleeting feeling returns… rises. It's name is told by the dull, longing look in Caine's olive eyes.

Want.

The weapon flicks across her elbow, his arm wrapping around her. Careful fingers dig down to find her shirt's base, causing Mich to flinch. The barrel of the gun presses against her flat stomach. The hammer clicks back, and his grip tightens.

Her hips press into the counter, her fingers gently rap the marble countertop.

Caine's torso sets gently against Mich's shoulder, his pulse echoing into her as a rapid beat of passion. The gun slides down.
