Development on Shovel of Hope DX is in full swing over at Yacht Club Games, and Mole Knight is in on it! When the burly burrower receives his invitation, however, he mistakes it for an adventure of his own…

After witnessing the grandeur that is (Or, will be) a playable Mole Knight in Shovel of Hope, Mod Mona and I have been joking about Mole of Moling being real at last, which subsequently coerced me to write and voice this scenario just in time for Shovel Knight's 10th! I highly recommend opening the script for this audio in another tab if you'd like to follow along.

This is our longest voicework project yet, and we had a lot of fun with it!

Something most people don’t know about me? Singing - especially as a backing vocalist - is one of the ways I’m learning to trust my voice. It might not seem related to business. Or coaching. Or content. But every time I step into the music… every time I open my throat and let sound move through me… I’m unblocking something sacred. My throat is the part of me that still holds fear. It gets tight. Clenched. Quiet. But as a Manifestor - in Human Design - my voice is my tool. It’s literally where my power lives. So I have to practise using it. Not just for others. But for myself. Backing vocals help me do that, in a fun way I get to express myself without pressure...somewhat. Silly little character concept thing I've put together for a DnD group I've been invited to join-

Grimben Hexbury, a Forest Gnome Wizard who received the blessing of a mighty Djinn... or would have, were he not a flamboyant coward. Instead, he had hoped to run a test run on his Goldfish, Tiny, taking the other two wishes for himself should the first one have worked as intended.

Unfortunately, the preconceived notion that he was granted more than one desire to be fulfilled was a false one. Thus, he has accepted the status as the one who possesses (the one who possesses) ultimate power- the newly named Jumbo; who'd grown to the size of a Sunfish with the influx of magic.
