a short video, filmed amateurishly and a little out of focus:

moire and reagan are on top of a diner table. reagan is on its knees. moire’s got both her creepy hands wrapped around the hilt of a too-realistic greatsword stolen from the theater’s props department. a coffee mug is kicked flying; outside of the window, ai is beckoning over passersby with a pleasantly genuine expression of horror.

“and FOR YER MANY CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND THE NOBLE ART OF DEBATE,” moire bellows, to the startled yelps of the patrons (in the corner of the frame, a mother drags an eight year old out of the glass doors despite protests), “i sentence ye to—”

she pauses; there’s a hush in the diner, except for a waitress sighing, “children, i’m gonna have to ask you to leave—”

“—DEATH!” moire finishes with a grand flourish as she brings the sword up to the ceiling and then down onto reagan’s borrowed turtleneck, severing its head clean off. 

reagan’s head rolls off the edge of the table and onto the aged linoleum floor.  

for a moment, there is silence. 

and then all hell breaks fucking loose.]
