So, what are microgreens and why should you add them to your meals? Microgreens and microherbs are just like your regular vegetables and herbs, only they are harvested just before, or just after they get their first true leaves. Taking between 10 days and 17 days from seed to harvest they are exceptionally high in nutrients. Microgreens contain between 4 and 40 times the nutrition of their regular grown counterparts or in percentage terms they contain between 300% and 3900% more vitamins/minerals.
