Andor season 3 episode titles & plot summaries have just been announced!

This final season of Andor will have 6 episodes as opposed to the usual 12, and the episodes will follow the journey of Cassian and the Rebellion in their fight against the mysterious "Death Star".

Season 3 Episode 1: "There Are Spies Everywhere". This episode follows Cassian directly after the end of season 2 (which set up him meeting an informant named 'Tivik'). Additionally, this episode fleshes out the character of "Krennic" introduced in season 2, and his relationship with Galen Erso, a character who has to do with the creation of the "Death Star". The episode primarily focuses on the character of Jyn Erso, who is the daughter of aforementioned Galen Erso.

Season 3 Episode 2: "Star-Dust". This episode follows Cassian and the newly introduced Jyn Erso, daughter of Galen Erso, as they voyage to Jedha to meet Saw Gerrera's Partisans. Apparently, they will also travel to a planet called 'Eadu'. Both of these planets were mentioned in the final arc of season 2 - the buildup is super exciting! Additionally, it has been mentioned that we will get more information about this "Death Star" and what it is capable of.

Season 3 episode 3: "Your Father Would Be Proud". The tension mounting in the previous two episodes comes to a climax in this one as the main characters go into a final battle on Scarif, which was also mentioned in the finale of season 2. Sources have also told me that this will be the last time we see Cassian, and the rest of the story will be focused on newer characters (some of whom were introduced in this episode!). This seems like a tough concept, but I'm hoping they pull it off - I'm really enjoying the chemistry between this group of characters!

Season 3 episode 4: "You're My Only Hope". This episode begins right where the previous one ended, with the theft of the structural plans to the Death Star - in this episode, we're introduced to more new characters like smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca, who Obi-Wan persuades to take them to Alderaan, where Bail Organa is.

Season 3 episode 5: "That's No Moon". The situation escalates - The Death Star unveils its full power as Luke, Han, Chewbacca & Obi-Wan mount a mission to infiltrate the Death Star and rescue Leia Organa, all while carrying the structural plans to the Death Star.

Season 3 episode 6: "In Our Moment Of Triumph". Han, Chewbacca, Luke and Leia are tracked to the rebel base on Yavin 4. The Death Star prepares to crush the rebellion in one fell swoop. Everything is at stake for our new band of characters, the Rebellion, and the galaxy at large.

What's interesting about this season is that the lack of Cassian and other Andor characters in the final episodes is very much an intentional choice - a statement by the creators, that the Rebellion is made up of people from all walks of life working together to stop a single evil.

I'm super excited about Andor season 3, and I hope you all are too!
