Is this wip dead? I was definitely gonna read the demo if it wasn't. I'm just wondering. Have a wonderful day.
No, it's not dead, I'm just focusing on my first project at the moment. feel free to take a look if you like. It's Adoriel's Tears.

Helloooll, Arielle ❤️ How are you doing? I didn't see much of you (or anything?) and I'm worried for you. I hope nothing bad has happened to you or your family. Please take care, stay safe and hydrated ❤️ btw. I love both of your stories so much 😀😍 wonderful work 😌
Hi there! 😇
I'm fine just a little busy. I'm trying to juggle work and personal life which isn't always easy. Hence my silence. I've started writing again, but I'm not going beyond 500 words a day since the beginning of March...and then I'm prioritizing Adoriel's Tears, so yes, it must be a void for those who discovered me on Heavy is.
Fortunately, my family is fine. Which, frankly, is the best thing. I saw my twin not long ago, we went to the theater...he slept through the whole thing. 😅

Helloooo, I just realized how powerful mc would be once adult. Look what they did when their power awoke. As a kid. Whichever the elemental power, they could destroy so many things with enough control. With enough power. They could throw tidal waves, create a hurricane, an earthquake, or a devastating fire.
Now that I think about it... maybe they could even destroy Camelot.
But there isn't a villain route, I believe....
Right ?
Anyways, just fun thoughts to have. I always like the idea of a hero going apeshit.
Mc is indeed powerful ! They just need a little control.
I like your idea, after all, the solution to the problem might be not to try to solve it at all costs, but to destroy it.
No problem, no more problem. 👀

Hi ! I just thought of something ! How did MC's parents meet, if it's not a spoiler ? I just feel like we don't know that much about their story before MC's birth and I'm quite curious !!
Hi Fanny
Percy and Anna met while the former was playing hooky with Erec. Percy was sixteen years old and had taken his little brother off Key's land. That was the day Erec got the scar Mc describes in the demo.
Ana witnessed the fight - in fact, she took part in it, trying to help the Trepassers disappear. She and Percy then took Erec back to the Manor. She couldn't get in at first, Gareth didn't trust her, but Lady Blanchefleur was curious, so when Percy started sneaking in again, she didn't say anything.
After several meetings, he sneaked her onto the Key lands with the support of Erec and Elaine, where they made sure she was a clairvoyant.
Percy found her and still finds her incredible, courageous, and stubborn, but also composed and sure of herself. And Ana was touched by Percy's devotion and love for his family, by the smile on his face as he helped her explore his world, by his shyness with her. It was love at first sight for Percy, but it took a little longer for Ana.

Rambling
I'm in the mood to do some translation work on my novel this morning. Perhaps I could offer you some reading later today?
It feels really strange to be back to it. After the Wattpad period between 2019 and 2020, nobody came on it anymore, including me (that's when I entered the wonderful world of multiple-choice stories).
What's even stranger is that now, this story may get a second breath with a new audience in another language. But I have so many choices to change to fit the format. For example, I decided that the reader would embody the first character I'd created. (Her name was Sarah, but now it's you.) S had a single love interest in my story, and now all the other characters except her brother have become possible choices for romance.
It's strange and exciting at the same time.
I hope Under the Rose's Shadown has a small audience, but if it doesn't, well, so be it. It'll still be my very first baby, the one I started thinking about when I was being harassed and that did me so much good, and there's no reason for that to change.
Moving on to Heavy is the Crown, I'm going back to it very soon, but I'm still thinking of reducing my workload by removing certain paths. I'd go for the Mc's that use a board, but I'd love to hear what you think.
Anyway, enough talk, I'm going back to writing.
Have a good weekend.

Personally, I genuinely prefer Heavy is the Crown ! Adoriel Tears is really great too, but I feel myself more... Attached to Heavy is the Crown's characters ? I don't know, it may also be linked to the fact that I love interactive fictions with Arthurian themes, it's my jam...
And it's not that I don't fear for Heavy is the Crown's MC, it's more that I gaslight myself into thinking everything is fine and I prefer to focus on nicer things. Like MC's cousins. Or the generational trauma and how it is transmitted in different ways through each sword bearer...
Everyone has their own tastes, Fanny. Don't worry.
💕
I can't wait to tell you what's next.

I won't do it again, Anon. I've learned my lesson.

I was interested in the IF at first but then noticed you used AI to create "art" and was immediately disappointed. I know people will see this and disagree or act like I'm overreacting or whatever but as an illustrator it just really sucks seeing that. I'm not telling you what to do or what decisions to make but seriously reconsider using AI. Maybe research and see what artists, including authors and other creators of IFs, are saying about AI and how it negatively affects artists.
I understand that you may not approve of the fact that I used AI to generate the portraits of some of my characters once, but is this a reason to condemn me and my work immediately?
I'll say it again, I used it once, just once, out of curiosity, because I can't draw and I don't have enough income to live on and commission someone to create something for my If. I had no intention of reusing artificial intelligence, because yes I did my research.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings but I believe that everyone makes mistakes and those mistakes shouldn't condemn people especially since I've gained nothing over it.

Genuinely dissapointed that there aren't more people that preffers Heave is The Crown, THE AMOUNT OF VARIABLES!!!! Aspecially the unique option of being able to play mc with dissability and how hard that must've been to write! The amount of storylines/dialogues that you have to go around to write a story with the pov of mc with dissability, i absolutely love HITC, thank you so much for the hardwork you've put in this game!!!!
Yes, without exaggerating, it's hell with all these mcs. It's a real juggling act.
To each his own, as they say, but maybe Heavy will get more support when the angst train pulls into the station.
I'm surprised everyone doesn't fear more for Heavy's Mc when you know how I treat Adoriel's...
Thank you so much for your kind words. 💕

do what you feel is better for you, tears had a unique setting while heavy seemingly has better family interactions, both are equally great stories
Yes, I'm well aware of that. Adoriel's lacks family interaction, I think I unknowingly remedied the problem in HITC but my desire to rewrite Adoriels also came from there.
Thanks Anon. It's good to have a few messages that appreciate Heavy is the crown as much as Adoriels because I've put, am putting and will put the same passion into both when the time comes.

I've listened to you, and I'm going to turn my dystopia into an IF.
I'm both excited and terrified. I'll be working on it from time to time, which will be easier since the first volume is already written. Although I'll have to adapt a few things.
In the meantime, I'm still working on the banquet scene for mc in Heavy is the crown. I've had little time to write over the last few days and I'm finding my progress painfully slow, but I'll make do.
Oh. Before I forget, my dystopia in its IF format will be called Under the Rose Shadow. 🥀

You should turn it into an if! Especially if its a story you really care about. Your writing is very good so of course it would be good also (had no idea you had a prior story) Would love to read it even if you don't make it into an if.
Between my dystopia, Adoriel's Tears, and Heavy is the Crown, I've got 3 stories (so far.) My dystopia is written entirely in French, though. Which means a lot of translation work, and also shaping to fit the IF format. What I mean to say is that my novel has not one, but eight protagonists… I'd have to reduce it to one and make the rest possible Ro. Something that could be done, it might even be very good since they're all so different. What's more, each of my chapters was from the point of view of a different character, which would mean little choice for the reader?) I'm touched that you're interested in reading!

I just received a message from Wattpad where my very first baby has been sleeping for a long time. A dystopia I've been working on for nearly 10 years… It made me so sad. I turned to writing interactive fiction because nobody was coming to my novel anymore. But frankly, it hurts my heart. Maybe I could turn my baby into an IF?
I don't want this story to fade into oblivion because I wrote it at a time when I was really in a bad place, and it helped me get through it, so…

Remember when I talked about losing a cousin...?

I can't wait to get to this particular passage. It's so far away to write and yet so close in thought.
