I was interested in the IF at first but then noticed you used AI to create "art" and was immediately disappointed. I know people will see this and disagree or act like I'm overreacting or whatever but as an illustrator it just really sucks seeing that. I'm not telling you what to do or what decisions to make but seriously reconsider using AI. Maybe research and see what artists, including authors and other creators of IFs, are saying about AI and how it negatively affects artists.
I understand that you may not approve of the fact that I used AI to generate the portraits of some of my characters once, but is this a reason to condemn me and my work immediately?
I'll say it again, I used it once, just once, out of curiosity, because I can't draw and I don't have enough income to live on and commission someone to create something for my If. I had no intention of reusing artificial intelligence, because yes I did my research.
I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings but I believe that everyone makes mistakes and those mistakes shouldn't condemn people especially since I've gained nothing over it.

Honestly we could REALLY get into the fact that a lot of the insanity in Acotar is an excellent exercise in why you can't really separate the art from the author.
Sjm's zionism is OBVIOUS in the text. The ic destabilize governments to the detriment of people they will never have to care for, steal artifacts from other countries, displace people, cause invasions, commit war crimes for 50 years "for the greater good" all while their own people are living under unchecked brutality and poverty.
They are rich megalomaniacs that care for no one but themselves and their own emotional and material satisfaction and they are PRAISED for it. In fact anyone who even remotely disagrees with the IC is almost always one of the villains in the story (Beron, Tamlin, etc) as if to condition the reader that asking questions that are critical of the IC puts you on the wrong side of the narrative morally.
All of that sounds REALLL familiar huh?
#and the funny thing is sjm brought this on herself#unlike most authors she creates a clear framework in the text of what the narrative considers morally right and morally wrong#and her characters are always in the side that is morally right in the books but is morally abhorrent in real life#you have NO CHOICE but to question the actual author atp#like if the ic were real they would be the gop#and i think its funny that a lot of the havoc they wreak is most centered on people that are poc or marginalized in the book#but im supposed to get behind it because its some white teenager having a girl boss colonial moment#i hate these novels#if sjm wanted to do this she should have straight up just made feyre and co villains#anti sjm#anti acotar#anti rhysand#anti feysand#anti ic#anti acomaf#anti sarah j maas#anti inner circle#anti acowar

Most people really don't seem to understand that friendship is a two-way street.
They expect you to wait on them hand and foot as they rant about and constantly pour on you either their issues or their passions and when you finally have something you'd like to talk about you get a "Man that sucks :/" or a "Cool" in return.
Find somebody who doesn't do that. Then you'll have your best friend.

#pokemon#sir aaron#blood curse of sir aaron#no seriously this was supposed to be a one-shot with maybe ONE sequel. now there's 4 sequels and at least 7 directly related side stories#and three (3) fics that are more or less gonna serve as prequels/background for all my canons at this point when riley's involved#it was also only supposed to be one and then i had Ideas and did not stop them.#(benefit of setting things during legends arceus and promptly ignoring the actual protag)#i've only had the core idea rolling around my brain for 6 months and there's this many fics. prequel 1 came before but the others are newer#at least i'm not trying to write an entire game plot this time unlike my other big pokemon project#so much of the conflict could've been avoided with better communication. not all of it mind you but the big issues? yeah#at the very least they could've been handled a LOT sooner#<- series name for all this nonsense in case i wind up talking about it more here. will probably post links here once more is written#i've got a scattered 20k worth of it so far of actual fic and over 10k worth of notes. 2k of those notes are for a single episode rewrite#i know that might not sound like a lot to some people but only the first main fic is done. the third one is arceus chronicles.#im making. choices. that's for sure. and writing so much aura lore you have no idea#i might need to make a family tree soon

I may be in the minority on this, but I really really hope RTD reintroduces Christmas specials to Doctor Who.
I just miss them so much. they're such a big part of Christmastime festivities to me, and I love how each Doctor's Christmas specials are different from the others' because of the specific ways that Doctor is different from the others. how does this particular Doctor handle coloured lights and snow and carol-singing and over-the-top cheer and goodwill? Ten and Eleven and Twelve all have different reactions and the tones and plots of their Christmas specials follow accordingly! the differences and similarities are so fun to see! and it gives the show a chance to cut loose and be a little absurd and a little terrifying and drop the dependance on plot for pure shenanigans (and often take advantage of that breathing room to address things going on with the characters--plus, some of the best one-liners to come out of this show have come from the Christmas specials)

#He goes out on his own terms#but he leaves a trail of destruction behind him#really hate it when people say the show tried to make walter look badass#i mean it did in the early seasons#but it was all clearly building up to the show basically laughing at us by the end of season 4 for ever siding with him#walt grows progressively unlikable and that was the point of the entire show#breaking bad was such a goddamn beautiful story in terms of the things it explored and i really hate that people ignore that#the ending of breaking bad was a tragedy#not a last triumph for Walt#i mean yes it is cause he goes out in a technically badass way and then there's that music playing and he dies with a slight smile but#the only moment of catharsis that the last few sequences offer is Jesse breaking out of captivity sobbing triumphantly#but the ending wasn't joyful for anyone other than walt#who is also miserable and alone but owning up to who he is and freeing Jesse and walking through that meth lab and killing jack#has given him some sense of peace#but that isn't supposed to make you happy for walt#it's supposed to make you think of what it cost and so many people ignore that and as a result are under the illusion that#breaking bad was a very simple story which it was NOT#also that ending was perfect but that's been said before#breaking bad#jesse pinkman#walter white#better call saul#skyler white#fuck walter white

Making my own region for a dnd out of spite for lack of mesoamerican (in the case of this region, Nahua) cultures and cities as well as also inserting the names of cities from my country because of their meanings (like for example Nahuizalco means "Four places of obsidian" god thats so cool)

I still unironically think that hashirama's and tobirams's mom was a hatake and was one of the key factors in the mokutun kekkei genkai and not just senju bs alright good night everybody
#i love how this makes zero sense if youre not invested in narutos lore#results from my very very late night energy spike but im crashing now so yippeeeeeeee#some elaboration cause i feel like it. i personally headcanon that the hatake clan used to exist but was killed around the same-#time as the uzumaki clan#the reason they werent so well known in the fire country is cause they originated from the lightning country#the hatake and uzumaki clan became allies after the lightning country became fearful of their white charka and turned hostile#the uzumaki clan deeply related so the two quickly became fierce allies and that's how tobiramas mom happened#basically konoha met the hatakes through the uzumakis extremely early on in their history and was a key result of the mokuton#in my brain white charka works like this. its an extremely volatile but powerful charka nature but its not made up of any one element#its basically pure energy that has the ability to heal and build upon existing jutsus to make them 10× more powerful#thats why people were so fearful of them as they could take your own jutsu and make it way more lethal in a blink of an eye#another plus is that the healing properties are unlike any another. basically it was well known of hatakes healing uzumakis that had-#pushed their charka systems too far during sealing. blowing out or even collapsing part of their charka network#white charka would basically restructure their network to a 'fixed' or 'pure' state#it was also very common for hatakes to work alongside uzumakis to help them control and share the vast power of their charka so that-#if anything happened. they could siphon majority of the kickback and make sure they didnt just fucking ko in a heatbeat#thats my argument to why things such as charka chains were much more common in the past cause youre SUPPOSED to have-#a hatake on standby who helps heavily in stabilizing their charka and shares the power while making it more durable and controlled#thats why karin and kushina fucking combusted each time they did the charka chains and its NOT supposed to be a-#solitary jutsu!! get you a fucking hatake to HELP YOU OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! yeah anyway so im making an oc

hmm, does anyone have anything that lists all the main storyline/taskline quests + their dialogue? i would love to re-read though them again for lore reasons. i know theres that one work in progress timeline document, but im looking for in-game main tasklines any player can see while they play. i can figure out the side stuff like the arg things and comics myself...
(long rambley explanation below that im putting under the cut because i know otherwise nobody will interact with this post)
(this is mostly for ocs, even if they don't follow the main storyline lore exactly - i would still like to know any and all details about the world the toons talk about so i can make things accurate and be able to talk about certain details... and get ideas from reading certain things. even though the lore in cogs only we have is... uh. lets just say this thing could never ever be canon but yknow HAHA)
and like... i do have a million damn screenshots, some of them taken purely to save certain dialogue that i look at RARELY (bc i forget i took these screenshots). and i dont wanna go through videos of people playing the game, i don't like doing that... but the wiki doesn't seem to list the dialogue anywhere, or i may just be looking in the wrong place?
because with so many main line quests you will forget a few things, and of course skip over dialogue when you're trying to do things quickly... with some things being related to the story and some being not...
so i would just really love to look over the main stuff again. ofc, side quests are apprecited too, but im looking for the main thing. gets a bit hard to figure out world stuff when you unfortunately never played tto becuse you didnt know it existed, and ttr's lore is very different from ttcc and honestly i dont even know what they got going on there anymore, i never paid attention to it even when i played ttr because honestly i cant give a fuck about disney characters outside their actual source material-
