Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.

This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.

The Occupation has systematically destroyed every social infrastructure that makes civil society possible, whether it be healthcare, food systems, or education. In an attempt at genocide, they've targeted schools, hospitals, businesses, and every person who supports their community through their profession.

Rana and Ahmed (@ranafam2) are educators from Khan Yunis (Northern Gaza Strip), with Rana as a statistics professor at the Islamic University of Gaza and Ahmed as the principal of his school: both institutions have now been destroyed.

Palestinians have survived occupation for well over a century now, and they will remain steadfast, but they need your support.

In my conversation with Rana, she told me:

"Providing food and drink for my children right now is impossible. A bag of flour costs 1000 shekels ($272) and milk, for my little girl, is 100 shekels ($28). This is the least of what we need.

As for the tent, today my children froze from the cold because the tent is very, very, very worn out. And we drowned when it rained for a while. We couldn't sleep.

Please, if you know someone who can donate to me, I need it very, very much so that I can at least survive."

To help them get through this week, we must raise at least $1000 to cover the cost of flour and milk. The long term goal is $100,000.

I have always been deeply committed to protecting human rights and helping those in need. However, the recent explosions in Gaza have shattered everything we once held dear. Our homes, filled with love and precious memories, now lie in ruins. I haven’t just lost my house, i’ve lost everything that mattered to us.

My mother's home, my appartment and all it belongings. All gone, leaving behind only painful memories.

Despite enduring so much, we remained steadfast, helping others through their own times of need.

As 2023 approaches, the basic necessity of shelter looms over us. My hope was to rebuild our lives in Khan Younis. Yet, faced with the reality that Gaza is no longer habitable, we had to seek safety and a fresh start beyond its borders. Tragically, some of our loved ones remain behind, while others have fled or perished.

Today, my family and I find ourselves in the Arab Republic of Egypt, struggling to rebuild. Without proper residency or citizenship, it has been nearly impossible to secure work or provide our children with the decent life they deserve. All our attempts to establish stability here have failed.

i don't wanna sound hopeless but i feel like so many of you don't care or have stopped caring about palestine.

the news of hospitals being bombed, children being massacred, people dying from the cold, and the famine spreading in gaza does not seem enough to grab attention or make people care.

what new tragedy needs to befall gaza for you to start talking about it? the occupation kills a child every few minutes. people are cold and are starving. refugee camps are being bombed with bombs that can level city blocks.

this all happens because of all of us. we are complicit in this genocide because our governments use the taxes we pay to send weapons to the occupation. weapons that are used to kill children and impose a blockade that is starving 2 million people.

the very fact that we're still going about our days when all of this is going on breaks my heart. especially because we have failed to stop our governments from using our money to arm israel.

i urge you, please be generous and donate to suad and her baby khaled. he is just six months old and suad is unable to find any formula for him. if she finds anything, it is extremely expensive. the baby also needs warm clothes and is suffering from a respiratory problem and needs a nebulizer.

My name is Dana, and my little sister is Farah. I am 16 years old, and we live in Gaza. Before the war, our lives were simple, filled with dreams and hope for a better future. But everything has changed. I have endured five wars, but this one is unlike any other. This war has taken everything and reshaped our lives.Our home, which was once a safe haven for our family, is now nothing but rubble. In the blink of an eye, we lost everything—our memories, our dreams, and our sense of safety. We were forced to flee to the southern part of Gaza, but even here, there is no peace. My school is now a small tent shared with other children. There is no warmth, no protection from the cold, and no hope for a better tomorrow.My little sister, Farah, who should be laughing and playing like any other child, is living a nightmare. Since the war began, she has lost her home, her toys, and her innocence. She sleeps on the cold ground, waking up every day to the terrifying sounds of bombings, wondering if she will survive another day. Her eyes are filled with fear, and she often asks me, "Will we make it through the night?"Farah is always hungry. The little food we have barely fills our stomachs. Her frail body grows weaker from illness, but there are no medicines or enough doctors here to help. Her only dream is to feel safe again, to have enough food, and to live a childhood free of fear and pain.As for me, I do everything I can to stay strong for her and for our family. Finally, after 470 days, children will sleep peacefully, and the bombs will stop. A quiet, silent night will pass over the entire Gaza Strip. This is what appears to the world, but the reality is entirely different. From this night onward, the real pain begins. Families will start remembering their loved ones lost in this war. Children will remember their fathers who died before their eyes. Mothers will recall the best moments they shared with their families in happiness, moments that no longer exist because of the death of their children. Wives will remember their husbands returning to them every day, now brutally killed before the eyes of the world.

From tonight, life will become more difficult for those who lost parts of their bodies—the one who lost an eye, the one who lost one or even both legs, the one who lost his hands, or those who now suffer from complete or partial paralysis. All of this will not be shown to you by the media.

We are still suffering even after the ceasefire. Yes, it is a relief that the bloodshed and massacres have stopped, but our suffering continues. We are still displaced, still under siege, and still in need of your support.
