I went on a 2-day camping trip to the middle of absolutely nowhere, the light was right and the sky beautiful so I ended up snapping a few pictures of the sky, not my best work but I'm also very new to astrophotography, I think the nebula being right behind the electrical lines is kinda cool??? Definitely an improvement from my previous one
25mm ISO 500 F3.5 30 second exposure

I had the opportunity to ride this bad boy today, the owner saw me taking pictures and took me on a joy ride
I loved it, almost 1000hp according to the owner!
License plate and face censored for obvious reasons lol

Day 7 of taking pictures of the ducklings at the park, at this point due to their beaks I've completely discarded the idea that they might be goslings, however, today a mom and her babies showed up! They are so cute, I had a lot of fun taking these shots today, I messed up the backward wing swing, but I think I got a decent picture of the forward swing and landing
I'm going to be going to the Avatiary at some point next week, so lots of bird pictures coming soon. They have 2 cages that you can go in, one for waterfowl and one for tropical birds, so a lot of that coming soon:). I'm going to be posting daily updates of the 2 weird little ducklings, they are growing so fast! They are almost the size of a q female mallard
Also, I'll be posting some street photography I've been taking over the last week, mostly neon signs and cars, but also some architecture

Day 6 of taking pictures of the goslings (ducklings?) at the park, they are super cute as always
I took a 2-day break for a camping trip to do astrophotography, which will be posted later, and as compensation for missing a few days, I'm adding extra pictures of baby wings in two different angles and pictures of ducks I also saw today
This was all shot again using my Nikkor AF 70-300mm F4-5.6 G. My specific model is super old, from 1988, and creates a very interesting kind of Bokeh, I love it, and its very sharp, way more than I could ever expect a lense this old to be able to do
I won't be posting the settings for these as the light changed a lot during the shoot and they are all over the place lol
If anyone can help me ID these two little guys I would very much appreciate it
More photos like this in my blog, documenting daily pictures of these guys growing, as well as other birds, flowers and landscapes, all taken with a Nikon D7000, more artistic shoots and portraits coming, hopefully also architecture and urban
Come talk to me about photography, or about what animals I should do next, I love talking about wildlife and photography

Found a cat while hiking today, I had my camera and decided to take a picture of them
They looks so incredibly annoyed I dared to disturb them with my presence
All shot at ISO 250 1/250s F5.6 on a NIKKOR AF 70-300mm F4-5.6 G. This lense is a whole decade and a half older than me, lol, but the glass and the mechanicals are still immaculate, not bad for a 40$ lense

Day 5 of taking taking pictures of the goslings at the park, I'm pretty sure they are just baby female mallards and not actually goslings lol
But they are goslings in my heart
1) 400mm ISO 640 1/800s F5.3
2) 255mm ISO 640 1/640s F9

Daily picture is of the goslings at the park, but I'm starting to think they might be female mallards, their beaks don't look goose-like enough
This were all taken using one of my favorite old lenses, the NIKKOR AF 70-300 F4-5.6 G
This lens is over 30 years old! And it moves like a robot eye from old SciFi movies
1) 145mm ISO 100 F5.3 1/200s
2) 300mm ISO 320 F5.3 1/640s
3) 300mm ISO 320 F5.6 1/640s
4) 200mm ISO 320 F16 1/250s

I recommend going to the middle of nowhere and doing astro photography, just make sure you dont accidentally pick a spot with a city so bright it shines over the mountain:(((((
This was taken with a borrowed Nikon 5200 instead of my usual Nikon D7000
25mm ISO 640 F4.0 30 second exposure
