so there is an issue i keep seeing in the bmc fandom as of late, and it may just because there are a lot of people who are new and young here and therefore have less fandom etiquette, but i figured i’d say something. in my opinion, posting thought-out criticism of bmc (including its characters, ship dynamics, or acting choices) is totally okay and valid! but i think straight-up negativity and drama should be limited to personal/blog tags instead of main tag. most people just wanna see bmc content, not personal drama or “i don’t like [actor/ship/etc.]” with no further explanation or criticism. i say this with all the love in my heart: nobody wants to see that 🥲 but also, block and ignore is a good rule of thumb for being online. if you see something you don’t like, just block and ignore! and don’t let anyone make you feel like shit for it. and don’t feel like shit for being blocked, it’s usually because you don’t post content others might wanna see, not anything super personal. but i have been talking with a lot of friends and they say constant negativity in main tag gets exhausting, so keep it in mind, friends. drink water and be a little more nice to each other and respectful. ♡
