one… two… three… you look up, noticing the tender dance of the gentle snowflakes through the air.

“the first snowfall this winter!” you tell sunghoon, your breath leaving behind a steamy trace.

“careful,” he says, “don’t slip.” reaching for your hand, he gasps. “why didn’t you tell me you weren’t wearing gloves?” he interrogates austerely.

“i didn’t think it would get this cold. plus, it’s a short way to the dorms,” you defend yourself. “stop looking at me like that!”

“well, don’t go around not wearing gloves in the beginning of december if you don’t want me to look at you like this,” he replies between furrowed eyebrows, trying not to smile. as he begins taking off his gloves, you look at him questioningly.

“wait! where are you going?” he shouts in the empty street, but you’ve already started running, trying your best to keep a distance between the two of you.

“catch me if you can!” you react, almost indiscernible, through a fit of laughter. unfortunately for you, though, everybody knows sunghoon is a much better runner, so catching up to you wasn’t the most difficult feat you could put him through.

hugging you from behind, he twirls you around, your joyful giggles filling the surrounding silence. barely back on your feet, he takes your left hand in his and places his glove on it. “if you don’t want to take them both, then at least have one.”

accepting defeat, you wouldn’t have been able to fight back, appreciative of his gentlemanly consideration. still, feeling guilty, you begin to wonder about his other hand. after all, you could have managed without his one lent glove.

not one second after your thought occupies your mind, though, you feel his fingers intertwining with yours. "here, this way, we can both have warm hands," he states, smiling shyly at you, not one for romantic gestures.

"well then, maybe i'll stop bringing my gloves altogether," sly, you look him in the eyes, with a teasing, satisfactory grin.

“i would advise against that, but i can’t force you to do anything. after all, i have only one lover to look out for, don’t i?”

It was moments like.....

It was moments like laying on his lap with his fingers dancing through your hair as you silently watched the dying stars beneath the dark night sky.

It was moments like waking up to see him cooking you pancakes as you tiptoes to his side and wrapped your arms around his waist while nuzzling your head into his neck.

It was moments like not being able to sleep so you get up silently and bake cookies togeather, smearing flower onto each other's noses and laughing under the dimmed kitchen light.

It was moments like laying in bed, in each other's arms as you listened to the light rain outside, him silently humming you your favorite song in order to soothe you into slumber.

It was moments like walking hand in hand across the river, admiring the nature around you in a comfortable silence.

It was moments like sharing earphones on a train while listening to a playlist you made together, containing both or you favorite songs. Knowing that you will look back to this moment with pure nostalgia and happiness.

It was moments like these that made you smile, and your heart feel warm. It was the everyday boring tasks that he made fun. It was moments like your first kiss,hug even the first time you held hands as shy teenagers in the beginning of a relationship. Buy it doesn't matter because you will always cherish every moment you have with him, since you don't know...when it will be the last.

i learnt something today. again. i’ve come to the conclusion that i fear learning new things, although the world has so much to offer and i do believe that the beauty of this world and how we live it shines through new experiences and maybe getting to master these new experiences in the future. i think that this is what’s prevented me from actually achieving some of the goals that i’ve wished for for a longer time now. i am scared, i admit it, and yet, i have big goals and aspirations that i view in my future and that i strive for. procrastination has also taken over a significant part of my existence. i’m somehow aware of how i should overcome these feelings, and yet i still feel like asking for some guidance. i’m not entirely sure about what i’m doing right now, but i hope, still, for better days. we all do, because that’s what we, as humans, endeavor. psychology also plays a huge background role in these feelings and arriving at the point of getting over them. i’m so tired
