I'm still working on a few things but I've made the decision to move forward with my remake, and I'm genuinely hoping / anticipating this will be the last one for awhile. let's just say I'm taking my time and doing the best I can with what I have, and I appreciate ya'lls patience. I'm still really low energy and tired so it's going to be slow, but I know what I want to do. and going forward I'm going to be doing what's best for me, everything else be damned. just know I'm doing my best, and I hope to see you on my new blogs / in the future, but I'm still wishing you the best if you decide its time to part ways. I love and support you all no matter what.

I bought myself BG3 for my birthday so I guess I'm on that bandwagon now lol standby while I obsess 😂 I've rerolled at least 10 times in the 9 hours I've played so I haven't gotten very far I'm a fickle bitch who loves storytelling and creating characters leave me alone but I'm enjoying it.

it's also making me want to revisit PoE, got me thinking about running a campaign based in PoE ! anyway. birthday is tomorrow, taking a scenic train ride and going out shopping. catch me on discord (sealkii) especially if you're down to chat about BG3 <3

The dichotomy between ocs is so funny. Sometimes you’re coaxing them out of the recesses of your mind like “pspspsps here sweetie dont be shy why don’t you come tell me more about yourself” and sometimes its like there’s a guy in here with you and he’s punching the walls

if Kaey were canon the fandom would...

someone would probably ship him with aleksey 🤮 or otherwise try to romanticize their relationship / redeem aleksey's treatment of kaey

erase his native heritage / disregard that part of his struggle with his identity

trivialize his asexuality and minimize his issues with intimacy by "fixing" him with romantic and sexual ships, especially involving other male characters

write him off / portray him as a simplistic "nice guy" character

say he should have ended up with delilah instead of sarah (which isn't bad by any means !) and play off how toxic their relationship was

ship him with wystan (again, not necessarily bad)

ship him with tristan 🤮 (pls gtfo if you think this would be ok)

disregard his gender identity, or on the flipside portray him as more queer coded (and I will say, as the creator, I'd 110% support anyone who headcanon'd him as trans; on the flipside, pls remember he is non-binary ✌️)

forget he has a twin sister

gloss over the fact he can and prefers to exist without his prosthetic. like folks would disregard that he is equally capable without it and probably use it as angst fodder when the reality is he's very comfortable with himself and if he's comfortable with you then he'll go without, it has nothing to do with how you perceive him and everything to do with how safe he feels.

let him be bitey ! portray him as bitey and let him show off his sharp teefs

write all the fics about him as a kid with henri and aus about him being raised by henri and in general just creating all the happy comfort content with henri

also, considering buying BG3 for my birthday, since it's all that anyone is talking about, but I've never played the other BG games and idk... at any rate, I still need to buy birthday dinner and a gift for my mom, and then I'm getting myself a dreamy design I've had my eye on... maybe if I still have enough after that I'll buy it.

every time I come back on the dash something else about it has changed ene whats the point of having dash icons if we can't see them ? and where did the mutual tracker thing next to urls go ? too many things are changing, I don't like it ! and its hard for me to tell who my moots are / who im following. its giving me anxiety.

in other news, if I like your promo but don't follow its cuz I'm gonna follow you when I remake. owo; and I'm gonna remake sometime soon, haters be damned. just trying to gain some distance / take a break from tumblr and the dash before I try to invest myself again. plan is to be around by / after my birthday. 24 years old ! crazy.

last week of class, I've got reading to catch up on and a final project to finish and turn in. my med adjustment isn't having the intended impact but I'm also feeling okayish ? not as much anxiety but that might also be because I've been staying off tumblr. still depressed tho.

been slowly working on new blog things. just taking my time tbh and also thinking about new muses. I had a dream that I retired kaey but that's all I remember about it. I felt weird emotionally when I woke up tho so idk. I'm not 100% on what I'm doing or where I'm going next, but I'm trusting myself so I appreciate yalls patience and understanding
