Why don’t you give a shit about your friend being gone. Why does no one realize how fucked up this is. Why is that a rule. Why do we have to follow the rules. Have you tried breaking the rules.

I wonder if that’s what happened with Helena as a child. Surface level questions at first then as she got older more and more detailed. The less detailed questions are easy to answer. But the deeper ones? Some of them are dangerous. Sometimes the answer is don’t question it that’s just how it is. But that’s not an answer that will sustain a curious mind. Helly got frustrated when her questions weren’t answered and tried to get answers herself. I wonder if Helena did the same. I wonder if she kept asking questions until she was told she would be given no more answers.
