how much is the extras going to affect the apps?

honestly,  greyzy,  not  much.  when  you  ask  for  extra  fries,  does  it  matter  the  quantity  or  the  quality?  ...…  is  that  a  bad  analogy?  well,  what  i  mean  is  :  the  extras  are  always  welcomed,  but  not  always  necessary.  they  are  extras,  after  all,  and  sometimes  they  are  more  for  your savour  than  for  our  palate.  we  love  to  see  —  and  feel !!!  —  more  from  the  muses,  and  some  can  express  that  pretty  well  through  the  extras.  so  the  overall  view  has  to  create  a  great  puzzle  for  us  to  consider  the  extras  as  something  of  outstanding  value.  as  mentioned,  you  can  always  give  us  the  extras  bits  later  on.  the  musing  you  are  building  is  not  running  a  race  anyway ;  there’s  time.

hey, just for clarification: i see each skeleton is only connected to one person. are these pairings meant to be ships? or are they open to interpretation? thank you!

and i'll try my best to bring some clarity forth, my liege! nope, the pairings aren't meant to be ships at all ( we don't believe in pre - established romantic connections, since those rarely end nicely ). once we arrive at the plotting + writing station, everyone'll get to decide for themselves where their funky lil' vehicle goes. you're your own captain, captain.

hello!! english is my second language so i am sorry if i sound stupid but i am confused in the application with former camper / former counselor section. is this asking me if they used to go to this camp or if they used to be a counselor before current time? what if they are neither and are starting out as a new counselor?

howdy! never ever apologize — we're here to answer all of your queries, my dearie. english isn't the admin team's first language either, so we'll hold hands + go through this together. ready for takeoff? okay, here we go! in order for the cheeky plot to do its thing, all muses must be: former campers, former counselors, or both ... meaning this isn't anyone's first time at hollow's river. it's completely possible for your character to be starting out as a counselor, yes — but that would entail making them a past camper. did i make any sense? pls shake me around if i didn't.

just wanted to let you guys know that i’m having such fun with the telling a story part of the app!! you guys have made it so much fun!

and  whaaaaat  if  i  told  you  that’s  only  the  beginning?  after  all,  having  fun  is  the  whole  point  of  hollow’s  river  —  you  know,  besides  not  getting  your  head  chopped  off  by  a  guy  in  a  mask,  or,  i  don’t  know...  staying  alive  and  stuff  like  that.  anyways!  the  staff  is  preparing  a  lot  of  fun  activities  and  i  swear:  when  we  tell  you  it’s  gonna  be  a  hell  of  a  summer...  it's because it's gonna be a hell of a summer! hello,  hello!  thanks  for  asking  because  i'm  so,  so  anxious  for their dynamic  !! so,  basically:  yes  and  no.  yes,  in  the  sense  that  they  are  siblings  —  but  also  no,  because  they  aren't  siblings  in  the  most  literal  way  one  might  expect.  a  sore  talisman  and  a  crooked  hairbrush  are  said  to  be  siblings  "at  heart,"  which  doesn't  necessarily  mean  they’re  related  by  blood;  it  could  be  a  “my  mom  married  your  dad,  now  we’re  a  family”  kind  of  situation,  or  maybe  they  just  grew  up  together  —  lived  next  to  each  other,  had  families  that  were  close,  mums  who  were  best  friends,  etc.  so  they  naturally  ended  up  developing  a  sibling-like  dynamic, even against their will.  i'm  open  to  anything  when  it  comes  to  plotting,  really!  and  if  you  (or  anyone  else)  have  any  doubts  about  it,  i’m  also  happy  to  talk  more  about  what  i’m  planning  for  my  character  and  see what works for you, 'kay? hit me up !  <3
