Ah yes, the blorbos: Biblically Accurate Nepo Baby, Death Is Only A Suggestion, The Coolest Guy In Any Room (literally, but not figuratively), The Love Child Of Stanford Pines And Bigfoot, and Slim Jim The Autistic Boy Scout.

As already mentioned, I've read a lot of X-Men comics lately, and I've developed an particular love for the O5. My precious idiot children with no idea of the horrors to come. ❤️

I just wanted to get some designs down for them. Civilian clothes + original costumes + my redesigned costumes. Some notes on the redesigns under the cut.

Angel: First off, give this boy some frikkin' goggles. Dude's gotta have tears streaming down his face 24/7 because of the wind restistance. (Okay, okay, I read in a character blurb in some book that he has particularily strong eyes or some bullshit like that to prevent this... but what about bugs? You want bugs in your eyes, Warren??) Secondly, it always bothered me how he's (almost) always drawn with just a regular skintight suit with the wings just kind of... there. How on earth does he get these suits on? Are his wings detachable?! (They're not.) So I gave him a tank top of the model that would allow his wings to peek out in the back (both in civilian clothes and my redesigned costume). He then wears a very short jacket on top of his costume that goes above the wings. This is what his costume looks like with the jacket off:

Marvel Girl: Man, the way her hair just sticks out of the cowl never made any sense! 😭 So since I opted to remove the cowls, she gets a mask instead. The boys all have some other way of obscuring their faces, which is why she's the only one with a mask.

Iceman: Listen, I get that him showing a lot of skin can be beneficial to the way his powers work, but don't put my boy in just a speedo! Professor, what the heck? What happens if he needs to de-ice?! Also, he gets some ice spikes because they look cool.

Beast: The lad wears glasses in civilian life, so stop sending him into battle half blind! Beastie Boy gets some prescription goggles from me.

Cyclops: Honestly, I don't have all that much to say about this design. It's just the standard redesigned outfit plus his visor. ✌️

Mutant May 31/31 Nathan Summers | Cable

...aaand that's it! I actually managed to draw 31 characters in 31 days! 😩 The goal with this was to get me to draw regularly again, so I guess it worked.
