I was at the mall a few weeks ago with Panda and some other friends, and we were talking about tea, but all four of us are afab and three of us (myself included) are trans, so the one who wasn't trans was talking about a drink and Panda thought they meant T, and it didn't take long for us to figure out they weren't talking about the same thing. I said T&T out of instinct, forgetting that it was a bomb for 2 solid minutes. so now we have Tea, T, T&T, and A T&T, which is also the first thing I said after realizing I basically said bomb.

This has just made me wanna show up everyday in thigh highs, boots, and either shorts or leggings even more. I know full well I'm gonna get stared at but that's kinda my objective but I am a bit hesitant due to anxiety, but now I'm just gonna go through with it.

Can i have some advice for 8th grade?

I think it has literally been a decade since I was in 8th grade but honestly the biggest thing I regret being during those years is so self-conscious over what a bunch of other kids think about me - but not even THINK about me, more-so myself wanting to impress everyone else, or make the class laugh, or put on a show, and for what? What does putting so much energy into such class-clownery achieve? I promise you, that's not the way to make life-long friends, and it isn't the way to make people like you - it's cliche but kids don't seem to get it when people say it: Be yourself - it's very easy to fall into a niche or clique and there will always be unfair assumptions made of you and others, so just remember that in a few years none of that shit is worth anything and you'll only have yourself and those who genuinely like you for you left over, and those two things matter more than any other social-chain in school. Also don't be an unnecessary asshole, being nice never hurts.

I have no clue how you were raised but all those reasons are why I'm able to lie very well. the only difference is I have ADHD not autism but that shouldn't be much of an impact

I don't know if it's symptomatic of the autism or the anxiety or if it's just the way I was raised but I cannot tell an outright lie and it's fucking exhausting.

Like the best I can do is extreme sarcasm or joking or pretending a past tense is current but when pressed in the moment I just go totally silent and stare into space like a possum on the freeway and it's SERIOUSLY fucking with my head
