Have Some Fun
I wish I never met you, but my wishes are a little late. You have already beautifully orchestrated my fate. Now look at me, look at my state.
Point your loaded gun in my direction. Pull the trigger. Have some fun. You tell me it’s almost done. Your bullets pierce through my skin. Trusting you was my biggest sin. Now it’s a little late. Nice shot.
You said this was my early ending and you were almost right as you took my body and smiled with delight. I stood bruised and bloody, but broken? Not quite.
Point your loaded gun in my direction . Pull the trigger. Have some fun. You tell me it’s almost done. Your bullets pierce through my skin. Trusting you was my biggest sin. Now it’s a little late. Nice shot.
Are you surprised to see I’m still standing? Years later it's restitution I’m demanding. So...nice shot.

A Broken Promise: Equal rights. Under Law.
Equal justice. Under law. ”These four words are the basic promise of our legal system.” These words are supposed to be a core value of American society, created, spoken, and enforced to ensure that all people have equal justice under law, meaning no one is above or can escape the rule of law. The truth is, the legal system has failed us and this promise has been broken time and time again.
The question is... If justice can be bought, is this equal justice under law? Far too often money or the lack of it is a deciding factor in our courtrooms. If justice favors the wealthy and the privileged than the right to a fair and just trial is truly impossible. Bought, twisted by bias, and promised to the privileged, true justice ends before it begins.

Is This the World God Visualized?
So many things divide us.
is the very things that identify us
Religion, politics, race, and gender
Women standing on the streets screaming defend her
The black man still used as a legal tender
Despite the truth, our beliefs we will never surrender
They help us point our finger at whom we think is the offender
Our hate intensifies
Our blood turns cold, our vision blurred by red eyes
Our brothers and sisters we brutalize
As we look at each other and falsely characterize
A belief different from our own we are taught to criticize
Skin, shades darker categorize
Because we believe the lies spoken by the men and woman we idolize
At war with each other
Hate, intolerance, and incivility normalized
Is this the world God visualized?

Ignoring What Will Never Change
Trying to ignore your feelings is a fools pursuit. Honor yourself enough to feel them, accept them, and walk away from what is hurting your heart.

The things you do and say have slowly and continually pushed me away.
Now that you know. I must move along for I know this is something you will never outgrow.
