so ive been into .hack for like a few months now even tho im still waiting for one of my fav yters to play mutation soon for immersions sake since theyve akready done infection atp and in tge meantime i decided to play the games for myself and currently playing thru the first one rn but since i also heard that .hack is technically an ambitious multimedia thing and that theres also some anime and movies involved that i think are also neccessary for the series as a whole whats the best order for me to experience them in cuz i think maybe i should watch the sign anime thinh after playing infection but honestly idk and if u could provide anything useful that i should know then that would be great

If you’re just starting out by playing the first quadrilogy .hack games, then I would agree that .hack//SIGN would be a great place to start branching out into other entries in the series!

.hack//Liminality is another good anime that directly ties into the games; I would recommend watching each OVA episode as you finish up each game.

Those are the main two I would start with for now, let me know if you try those out and are still interested in more!
