Random Tips

I always approach writing a setting like writing a character... The tone a story takes on is very dependent on the mood and state of the setting, and I hate to see that aspect of writing consistently try ignored. So try and let your setting take on a character, or develop a stronger understanding of it. My strength is writing cities, and I believe I write Chicago and Los Angeles quite well. I'm not sure if this makes sense, and there are obvious exceptions even within settings, but I'm mobile and wanted to be somewhat useful... So... Yeah.
