i want to rant, but i don't know where to start.

firstly, i'm sorry. to the people who are going through even more shit than me, but who i still sit and rant to because they're the only people who will listen. thankyou for being there for me, and i'm sorry. i'll try and stop ranting at you.

you know those days where you just want to curl into a ball in a dark corner and rock back and forth and just cry? yeah. that's me. every day. the smallest thing sets it off.  like, a few days ago, my after school extra lesson got cancelled, so i was hanging around and waiting to get picked up, and i saw my friends outside. i went over to talk to them, and they seemed happy to see me, and were talking and stuff. we went to woolworths, just across the road, and they kinda seemed indifferent to my presence. when we started walking back to the school, i stopped for a second to ask another friend something, and the group just ignored me and walked back to school without me. normally, i would have been totally cool with that. but, i don't know. i got really offended for some reason, as i saw them walking up the hill talking and laughing without me.

increasingly, with all my friends, i just feel like an outsider. i feel alienated. and i don't know how to fix any of it. i'm continually getting sick from the stress levels of trying to be good at my subjects, and trying to appear somewhat normal.

on top of that, my passion is gone. my school is an arts school, right, and to get in you have to be totally passionate about a subject, and do auditions and everything. music was my life, it was just what i did. everyone knew me as the music kid. now? i dread going to music class, or even practical lessons. all of the passion i once had has been leeched out of me. i still want to love music. i just can't, anymore. 

people always seem to move through the corridors in groups. me? i just walk through, by myself. and the people that see me don't realise. these people who call themselves my friends only ever seem to see the smile i give them when they say hey to me between classes. that smile isn't even real.

to be honest, the only thing keeping me at school at the moment is my ego. i have a strong sense of pride and if i quit, i'd never forgive myself.

i honestly don't know what to think anymore. i'd say i need a hug, but they don't help. people always say 'it'll get better!'. i always thought it would, but it doesn't seem to. it just gets worse. i'm holding out for the day when everything just gets better.
