Hi there 👋

I know making a tumblr just to post this isn't exactly a good idea but I really want to get this out there so I apologise for this.

My sister-in-law recently had an amputation due to a rare form of cancer and because the diagnosis was a shock and everything happened so fast no one had any time to prepare anything. Charlene currently lives in a masionett which is very difficult for her as not only is the toilet and her bedroom on the second floor which she can't get too, but the doorways within the flat are too small for the wheelchair to properly go though, her husband has to bend the wheels to get her through the door and lift the wheel chair at the back to get around the sharp corners. This is a health and safety breach as if a fire started and she was on her own then she wouldn't be able to get out.

We have tried contacting the local housing association but they can't help, they say that there is nothing they can do at the moment and all this stress is causing her to get ill.

This is why we have set up this page so that we can hopefully receive enough funds to move Charlene into a bungalow where everything is on one level so she can access this and so she can safely leave if there is ever a problem.
