of course!! feel free to talk about anything you discover!
(@hex-catcher-jacket here) oh man, I feel like your last ghost anon asked a really good question. As a ghost undergrad some of the case studies really make me tear my hair out - say, the nature of "reincarnated" ghost types as spirits of the deceased (e.g. greavard or phantump) is so tricky to test scientifically! Like, even if Juniper et al. proved yamasks have memories of the deceased it does not equal them being the deceased...
Which is to say - do you have any opinions on the reincarnation problem?
i think a lot of it comes from ghost stories and legends and stuff getting mixed up with actual info. it's never really been proven that those pokemon are *all* born from spirits of the dead and such, especially as they can breed and make more of their species without any death being involved- i do really think the pokedex needs to clarify the difference between what's an actual fact and what's a piece of a local legend or something. yamask is an interesting case, too... i don't think yamask are reincarnated humans either, considering galarian yamask's entire existence. Their connection with the masks is interesting, though... I'll look into it more.

anything abut paras? mines jigoton and shes the cutest but id like to know some facts abut them in general! even if theyre common lol -sirknightful
Paras are pretty interesting!! When they are born, they are immediately covered in mushroom spores by the parent, making it quite literally impossible to find a mushroomless Paras. When paras evolves, it is pretty common for their entire demeanor to change, so if you like how your Paras is now, you may not want to evolve it!! The mushrooms that grow on its back, called tochukaso, are often touted as a superfood that can extend your lifespan. While they are very healthy, they aren't really magic like that... Paras are also happiest in a humid environment.

I would like to ask a pretty board question or several, ghost Pokemon...like can they really be studied? What are they exactly?
well, they’re exactly that. they’re spirits. though, they’re also living things like you and i!! they’re just. different. different abilities, body structure, et cetera. they’re a fascinating thing to look into! there’s a massive variety of ghost types... Jellicent, Gengar, Runerigus, Houndstone, Mismagius... All of them are different, yet they’re all still ghost-type! it’s some fascinating stuff, really. I highly suggest sending another question if you’d like to learn more about a specific ghost-type, as generalizing them can get pretty confusing.

Hey! Name’s Rosemary Helvetica. I’m a Pokemon professor. I live in Unova, right in the middle of the big city. I’m in several different fields of study, but the ones I focus the most on are the biology and behaviors of Pokemon. I’ve traveled to several regions to study, and I’ve met many people. My main partner pokemon is my Venomoth, Lucy. She’s pretty sweet. I have a few other Pokemon that help out around the lab, too. I’m always open for questions regarding Pokemon biology or behaviors, or if you just want to know how I’m doing.
