The sheer level of negativity towards Destiny 2 I've seen this year is utterly exhausting. And a lot of it just doesn't make sense to me, but I see so much of it, it honestly makes me question if there's something wrong with me for enjoying it still. I had fun in Lightfall. I liked the campaign, I like Nimbus as a character, they're fun, and I adore the location of Neomuna. The story, imo, actually set up the stakes of The Final Shape quite well, by demonstrating that we could still fail.

Sure, Season of Defiance sucked, I fully admit that. It was not good. But every season since has, so far, been an absolute banger. Season of the Deep was great, storywise, and I like the activities for it. Season of the Witch is my favourite season since Splicer. And Season of the Wish has been, so far, great, I really like the Coil activity, I've loved going back to the Black Garden, and I like the story so far.

But when I see people constantly going on and on and on about how Lightfall was terrible, and the game sucks now, and it's not worth playing, and the game itself is killing interest in the game, and that's almost all anyone fucking talks about, it makes we question if there's something I'm missing. Something I'm not seeing that everyone else apparently is. I'm confused by it. Am I wrong, for enjoying the game? Should I be quitting it, throwing my character away? Because I don't feel like I need to.

What a bad bad no good day. Heart goes out to all the talented Bungie folk who lost their jobs. I knew that Sony deal was going to go rotten. I've already seen the chuds celebrating saying this is what Bungie deserves for "pushing social issues". If I could reach through my screen and strangle them I would.

God Immaru is so funny, like everything we learn about him adds so much depth to how hilarious and a little pathetic he is

He thinks he's Gods' Specialest Little Ghost (is actually a glorified errand boy)

His unwavering confidence dwarfed only by how laughably feagile he is

His "intimidation factor" is his little roladex of pun-based insults like a cartoon bully

Just constant barbs and insults despite multiple people threatening to crush him

Puts on essential a pair of Groucho Marx glasses and wanders through the city (of his own volition) and spends THE ENTIRE TIME whining

Said outing is justified because of the Crucible, which he wildly misinterprets the function of despite being told multiple times how and why he's wrong BY SHAXX

"First Ghost" is an etnirely self-appointed title, as far as we can tell. He made it up. Nobody calls him that.

Hey so I had some ideas for exotic snipers because I really want snipers to be viable in pve since they’re really fun and their vibe is cool.

NIGHTSHADE (mushroom themed, void element)

Spore Cloud- shooting this weapon doesn’t remove invisibility, gains ramping damage buff for every final blow done while invisible

Chronic Infection- every final blow gotten while invisible adds five seconds to the invisibility timer

Catalyst- final blows while invisible grant one ammo to the mag

Overall I just want a sniper that fits the invisible sniper vibe, and i think this would be a cool way to do it. Also mushrooms are cool, no arguments there.

RAVENS EYE (Tex Mechanica but kinda gothic design, kinetic element)

Scavenged Munitions- precision final blows create special ammo bricks that only the guns holder can see. Picking these up reloads the magazine.

Shoot to loot- shooting ammo bricks or orbs of power collect them for you.

Catalyst- After getting ten final blows, in a single life, without manually reloading once, precision final blows create a kinetic explosion.

This sniper would be by no means meta, but it’s one I would love since I hate reloading and I like the idea of a sniper that leads into the fantasy of mowing down an entire hoard one by one.

CHAINFORGE (Think osmiomancy gloves but covered in chains, stasis element)

Will Binder- defeating a frozen target sends the gun into a rage, making all of its shots shatter targets regardless of frozen status.

Shackle Genesis- shatter multi kills with this gun spawn a stasis turret.

Catalyst- shooting any stasis turret will buff it, doubling its firing speed for fifteen seconds

Would you like an ad clear sniper that also absolutely demolishes overload and unstoppable champions all in one exotic? Well here you go. If you think this is too strong, shut up it would be soooooo fun to play with and also there are so many other things it would be on par with.

If you are a bungo dev please make these real I will give you a crisp high five, I really like snipers but the exotics either being boss damage or pvp based is so boring.

This, but still new darkness supers would be sick for tfs

I’m kinda annoyed that people are crying about not getting a new darkness subclass/why new light subclass supers/why not stasis etc. All of that seems like obvious signs of people not understanding the lore or the Destiny universe.

Why?

Because we’re inside the Traveler, that’s why.

We’re literally going inside the thing that gave us the Light and you expect to learn new powers from Darkness there? Of course our light powers will grow and evolve. We should be glad it’s not deactivating our darkness subclasses completely.
