​#postcrossing to Jessica in USA, who enjoys traveling, visiting scenic places like volcanoes in Iceland or glaciers in New Zealand, is learning German, and has a list of things she wants to do⠀ before she dies...⠀ ⠀ Dear Jessica,⠀ I live near Paris, France, so there is not much I could say that could make you REALLY want to visit the place where I come from… and it’s definitively not the best season for hikes – and even⠀ if the scenery can be gorgeous at certain time and set, it has not much to do with nature, volcanoes, glaciers, canyons…⠀ I also try to learn German in my spare time. I know how to order a beer, and invite a friend to smoke a cigarette with but. But that’s it. Anyway, since I randomly picked your address, I am glad to send you this card from our cathedral, which is a great competitor to Köln's Dom! I had the chance to visit Cologne several times, as I was working for a germany company located on the Ring... I tested local beers too!
