AND NOW, TEN YEARS LATER...
THE PAST
Date arrived in Bayview: He arrived in town on the 24th of August 2018. Area(s) lived in: Only the suburbs! Relationship history & status: Well... For as long as he had been in town, Henry had been called The Bachelor of Bayview (but no, he never agreed on following the Beat and their Bachelor: Bayview edition idea!). Firstly bothered by this running gag, he eventually accepted it and laughed about it. However, he did have a few relationships in town but none of them lasted long. Family: Just his dog, Kal! Career 10 years ago: Big nerd and a very busy actor, often out of town to work on his projects.
THE NOW
Date left Bayview: He left Bayview in 2023, shortly after meeting the woman who has become his wife since. Past residence: Back to London! Current residence: He is currently living in London with his family, flying quite often to the Jersey island in order to see his parents and brothers. The Cavills still have a house in the suburbs in Bayview where they spend several weeks in Summer. Relationship status: It’s going to break The Beat’s heart but he is married since 2024. Family: He has two children: a boy, William, born in 2026 and a girl, Eleanor, born in 2028. His wife is currently pregnant with their third child, another baby boy. Current career: After playing many pop culture iconic roles, Henry has been taking less roles in order to spend more time with his children and wife. But he is still acting and happily doing it.
FUN STUFF:
Favorite location in Bayview: The beach, especially in the morning. Favorite food spot in Bayview: The food trucks in The Village. Favorite drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic!) spot in Bayview: Endzone! A good beer during a rugby game, that’s all he needs. Favorite event or party: The Summer gala. Best memory in Bayview: Probably all the camping nights with Kal. Favorite project involved in: Cats and Dogs! Favorite sport played: Kickball. Favorite trip taken: Hawaii!

10 years later: Bayview is their happy place, too.
Many things had changed in 10 years. As work was taking more and more time of his life, Henry had been spending many months away from Bayview, working here and there. This is how he met his now wife back to 2022. What was just a fling on set in London had turned into a lovestory. In 2024, they got married. In 2026, William was born, followed by his little sister Eleanor in 2028. Life was different now. It was no longer about Henry and Kal. It was about a complete family and a life in England.
But Bayview had always been special to the actor and although the family was established on the other side of the ocean, they quickly took the habit of spending as many weeks as they could in town during Summer. However, this year was a tiny bit different. As work had kept Henry busy in Europe for the entire month of July, the family vacation got postponed and it was almost mid-August when they landed in town and started to enjoy all the festivities. The sense of community and the love for good parties was something that hadn’t changed at all in Bayview, and part of the reason why the male was still loving it. And among those things he loved was the rodeo. For once, he could be there for it. For once, he could share this weekend with his children.
Sitting at a table, Henry was staring at William and Eleanor. They were enjoying their time in town, playing with some other kiddos, smiling and laughing. A dumb smile appeared on the actor’s lips as he started to wonder what would life look like if they were raising them here. However his thought got interrupted by his wife as she came back with French fries in her hands. “I was craving fries, blame it on the baby”, she said, sticking her tongue at him. Looking down at her seven-month belly, the actor chuckled, “Of course.” Henry knew better than upsetting a pregnant lady. As she took a seat next to him, her eyes went from her husband to their children to her husband again. “You miss living here, don’t you?” she asked in a soft voice. He remained quiet for a second and then, slowly nodded. “More than I thought.”, he admitted. “We could stay, you know. With your job and mine, we could come back for more than a few weeks.”, she replied. It wasn’t the first time that this thought was crossing his mind, but he didn’t know that he had already crossed his wife’s, too. “Do you think the kids would enjoy it and be okay with it?” he worried. But she wiped all the worries away, made a gesture towards them and said, “Look at them, Bayview is their happy place, too. I think we’d be just fine.”

It’s true, you can’t look back at any point in time and not find something humiliating about it. A lot of it just depends on whether or not you actually lived through it, you know? It could come in handy some day, like who knows when you might impress someone with some sincerely cool knowledge about Snooki or… anyone else who was on the show. I genuinely don’t remember. I know, that’s the consensus! Our own bed, and our own shower. Yeah, absolutely, Candice and I are spending the weekend here.
Definitely. Like the ‘90s and the early ‘00s were quite embarrassing to me. But I’m sure that my parents would point out something embarrassing about the ‘60s or the ‘70s, too. Absolutely -- or just during a Jeopardy question, you know. You never know when I could use that knowledge! Oh, nice! Hopefully you guys have been enjoying your time there!

I think that there is definitely a possibility that was the case. I mean, someone may have put out word and then people knew they needed to be cautious to not be impacted by the high dosage of Cavill in their presence. They certainly wouldn’t tell you. Hopefully you managed to at least pack a few things before doing that. It was a decent camping trip for sure. I think that we all had a decent enough time between the water and the s’mores. Did you get into any trouble in the woods?
That’s what I was about to say. Even if I ask my parents, they wouldn’t tell me how much the town prepared itself to the comeback of the Cavill boys. But it’s alright, the people didn’t seem to be too bothered to see us around! I did, I just took a few hours to get over the flight, to shower and to pack a few useful things for two days in wilderness. Nope, everything went well! No drama on my side. You?

I’ve tried that before, and no one understands me. Pretty sure you can hear the tiny violins in the background whenever I try and tell a story. There you go. We’re entitled to send them as many reminders as we want, too. Good, good! Always happy to hear that the family is doing well. Did you survive the camping trip just fine?
Aw, this is so sad. Look, we’ll find a way to convince them no matter what. Keep holding on. At this point it should even be a daily reminder. You know, to make sure they would never ever forget. Better safe than sorry. I did! It was a good time, I enjoyed it. Did you have some fun?

Oh yeah, right back to the time that we would all like to forget, that’s how this is going. But at least you can say you’re immersing yourself in some pop culture, that should count for something. I was gonna say, I’m going to the other Jersey – the New one – sometime soon for a convection, and I’m going to tell them I have support in the overseas Jersey, too. They’ll be so impressed! Oh yeah, gotta soak up the last bit of sun this summer! I did, my bed felt incredibly good last night, but… camping was still fun.
Right back to a very embarrassing era, although I believe that every era has some embarrasing content. But you’re right, I do it for educational purpose, I just wanna extend my knowledge on pop culture. Please do! Make sure to tell them that you are talking about the original Jersey, the first one. It’s funny how we all enjoyed being back in our own bed after a weekend in wilderness! Do you plan on going to the Getaway sometime this weekend?

Of course! I feel like it’s only fair — after all, if I make it any more complicated then all I’m doing is shooting myself in the foot, because then you won’t want to come back next time I find myself in a precarious sort of technological situation. We do, which is sad, but I suppose that’s just part of life? Ah, well, if you don’t, then you best hope any future children wind up being girls, because it happens. It happens even when you swear it won’t, because the universe is cruel like that. Young Henry got into shenanigans? What kind of shenanigans are we talking about here? I can’t see you being anything other than a model citizen. The two of you are gonna go viral and have the entire Internet in the palms of your hands, which, I love for you, but also, please try to remember us little people once you hit the big time. Maybe they’ll have you guys on The Masked Dancer or something. Hey, you never know! Better safe than sorry. I had a wonderful time.
That’s true, but something you don’t even do it on purpose, you think you’re doing the right thing until it just breaks and you’re like “oops”. But no worries, either way I’ll be there to help you. Do you think a girl is easier to handle than a boy? Like, should I start praying for having only girls in my future life cause at least I wouldn’t have to worry about the shenanigans? A little, yes! It wasn’t big shenanigans, just the kind of things that annoy the neighbors. Plus I’m just blaming my brothers for everything I might or might not have done. No worries, we will remember you! If you’re being nice to us we might even share some of our fame. Are you going to party with the rest of the town this weekend?

I think that we definitely shouldn’t be sad to be busy. It means that people want to be around us and as far as I’m concerned people wanting to be near us is a good thing. That definitely is more than most people can handle. I mean, the locals probably sent out warning alerts about that. Hopefully you did manage to make your way back easy enough. I am planning on enjoying the wilderness this weekend. Will you be lurking the woods as well?
It is a good thing indeed. Plus being busy means that we are enjoying life, which is a nice thing as well. I should have asked the people I met there if there was an alert sent all over the island right before our planes landed. I guess I’ll never know! I did go to the woods almost as soon as I went back to Bayview. I missed one of the camping days but I enjoyed the rest. It was good. Did you have fun?

Don’t worry, I’m sure that you’ll still look handsome as ever once you get some glasses. It’s one of those apps that I refuse to get on, but videos of it keeps popping up on my Instagram. Seems like I can’t get away from it no matter how much I try. Sounds like you’re prepared to me! Just try not to make too many doodles.
You think so? Phew good, then I’m okay with wearing glasses if I need some. Same, mate. Not that I have something against it but I’m still convinced that a) I wouldn’t understand how it works, b) it’s weird. TikTok is haunting you, buddy. You can’t escape it. I know, I know! What are you talking about, I’m a good student, I never do doodles on my notebook!

No, I mean if we needed to, we could probably figure it out. Or – well you could probably figure it out and I could bug you to help me figure it out afterwards! Most kids I don’t even know if they teach them that stuff anymore! Yeah was a really good time I’m starting to enjoy the outdoors more and more as time goes on. Though I am skeptical about this upcoming camping trip this weekend. Are you going?
That’s alright, I think it would be a nice teamwork after all. We would figuring things out together. We really are at a point of our lives where we just talk like old people, should we be worried about ourselves? Me too. The camping trip was fun, I felt like a caveman most of the time but it was cool. Did you enjoy it?

Precisely. Some might consider that I’m a ‘dangerous’ parent because I allow the kids to do what they wish, but how else are they going to learn? You don’t think so? Perhaps we need to send them reminders throughout the day. Personally, I don’t think we should waste our precious time, but they need a little push. How’s the family doing? All good? I did! Got the chance to explore and enjoy the scenery a bit, too.
That’s what you should tell them when they say you’re acting dangerously. Perhaps they’ll understand what’s the point eventually! I think we should absolutely send them a reminder. It doesn’t hurt. Everybody’s doing good! It was great to have all the Cavills in one place. But I was glad to be home on time for the camping trip cause it was a wild but fun experience.

Basically, you’re going to see a time capsule, but that time capsule is full of really bad hairstyles and people with not so great make-up, and … really loud accents. That’s the best way I can think to describe it to you. That’s true, that absolutely does seem like the kind of joke that parents would love to tell, honestly – I love that for her. I did! I couldn’t resist, and it made me wish that I spent a little more time on my bike, so I guess that will be my goal for the rest of the summertime, at least! Are you heading out to do some camping this weekend?
So I’m pretty much going back to 2000s with it? I’ll check it out, out of curiosity. I guess it can’t be that terrible, right?! It does, and she laughed when I told her the entire Jersey misunderstanding. So at least you know you have one supporter in Jersey -- the island, of course -- cause she said she understood why it got you confused. I guess it means I’m gonna see you on a bike all the time, now? I did! It was pretty wild but fun, too. Did you enjoy it?

I’m with you on that. There’s a reason why I still don’t have any glasses, and that’s because I do my best to put any strain on my eyes. She tries and fails! She’ll send me TikToks to help me out, but I’ve yet to open most of them. I knew it. You seem like the type that would be the best student out there. Do you have highlighters, too?
I wish I could be as confident as you are with my eyes but I spend so much time on computers that I’m probably going to need glasses at some point. TikTok seems to be such a weird app, I hope she hasn’t sent any scary things. Well no, I haven’t reached that level of student madness. I just have blue, green, red and black pens. And a ruler for important words.

I’m glad to hear that it went well for you in Montana. I’m glad to hear you had a good roommate. Mine was pretty great too even if we barely saw each other. I guess we both just kept busy doing different stuff. I think that getting to spend some time in Jersey sounds like a good time. The food there is supposed to be pretty good. Hopefully, you got to eat loads of it.
It happens sometimes but being busy on a trip is always a good thing in my opinion. It is a good time for sure, the entire family is here so I’m not sure our island was ready to see the Cavill boys being back around but it feels amazing. I come back home tomorrow night though. Are you going camping?

Agreed. Besides, our eyes aren’t as young as they used to be. They won’t be able to endure that kind of pain anymore. Best to stay at home instead. Oh, I’m sure! My niece tries to keep me updated on the newest sayings/dances, and I still don’t understand any of it. I just smile and nod, then change the subject. Are you noting them down, though?
Exactly. We are old men. We need the comfort of our own living-room and a nice screen to look at. Aw that’s nice, at least she is trying to help you. She hasn’t figured out yet that it’s in vain but, at least she tries. Of course, of course. I am a good student. I have a notebook and all that jazz.

Have no fear, I won’t touch a thing. I know I’d only make it worse if I did, and I’d never do that to you. Especially when you’re willing to help in this incredibly long hour of need. Things are just so vastly different from how they were when we were kids? Maybe that’s me staring at it surface-deep, but I constantly ask myself if I remember being like my daughter when I was her age when it comes to the interests and all of that. Who knows, maybe our memories are just all foggy! Wait ‘til you start having kids — that was the first curse I had bestowed upon me when I was pregnant. My mom wished that I’d have to raise myself and I am, which in turn, has turned me into her. I’m not saying I know what the kids are into these days, but if anyone can go viral, you and Hunter definitely would with your whole bromance thing. We don’t, not without a really large knife. Speaking of the Wild West, how’re you enjoying being out in the great outdoors? You and Andrew accidentally lit your tent on fire yet?
Thank you very much, I appreciate how willing you are to make my job easier. That’s true. Things change as we grow up, we lost interest for the things we used to love and those things kinda disappear too, so it’s hard to keep up with what you use to love. You know what... As much as I love kids, I am not sure that I want to raise myself. Young Henry was a good boy but I also know that Young Henry made some shenanigans I don’t wanna handle as a parent. That’s our fate: your brother and I were meant to go viral at some point of our lives. And since we do everything together, it includes the video. I had a great time! Oh please Scar, we are better than that! We took good care of our tent. Did you enjoy the trip, too?
