‘patty reaches out’ scene

one of my favorite bits of this scene is henry revealing patty’s father’s secret, specifically what happens in the background. when henry points at patty revealing she is actually her dad’s secret, brenner’s head instantly snaps up to stare in patty’s direction, like he actually heard henry. he then starts to just trail henry around nearly the entire time he is speaking. brenner even copies henry’s posture, up until henry suddenly twitches and brenner just breaks out of it and continues on. it’s freakily interesting and i wonder if it has some sort of meaning

notes from TFS tonight (because i love this show and wanna share some some fun bits 😛)

- had eric wigend as a understudy for bob and i gotta say he is very 2000s nerdy older brother and i loved it

- henry straying from sue’s tour just to go poke at prancer and talk to claudia (personally i believe he loved animals before.. everything)

- charles gesturing to walter to give him the scooter after his intro and instead of just handing it over walter just, sorta, waddles over like a toddler 😭

- eric’s bob, instead of growling and clawing the air (like juan’s) when trying to act ‘sexy’, chose finger guns and barking which was hilarious

- charles hitting the absolute shit out of walter with a playbill after his racist af comments

- bob going on how everyone def saw something between patty and henry, except eric chose to imitate henry’s little leg sticking out lean he does during the ‘kiss’ scene 😭

- always love patty helping out the ensemble member who spends the entire scene between bob and patty just in the background, struggling to move like five chairs at the same time, before patty comes along and helps out

- henry giving prancer a little kiss on the head before freaking tf out and killing him 💔

- louis getting confetti stuck on him during the dance sequence and kinda just trailing around with it literally wrapped around his shoulder and leg (he tried his hardest to get it off but that shit was tangled until it majestically fell off at the end of the scene)

-bob accidentally dropping D.A.D. when introducing it and piece of the machine quite literally flying straight into the audience

- henry lowkey getting distracted and playing with the feathers on the dancers when creelby are trying to find patty’s mom

- also louis’s accent coming out a lot tonight too! pronouncing mom as ‘mum’ and nevada as ‘nuhvadah’ - literally reminded me he is in fact british 😭 but fun to catch

- the lab guys being extremely judgy tonight and continuously shaking their heads in disappointment at people’s bags and gesturing that they will keep their eyes on them, like ALOT they did not like us

- brenner: “i usually find a social maladjusted child, that’s you 😁, who presents psychologically poorly, also you���☝️”

henry:

- henry casually waving at the rats in the cage while listening to brenner ramble (slowly noticing that henry should maybe stop being nice to animals or he will uncontrollably kill them)

- patty putting a hand out to henry during the scene where she helps him fight against the mind flayer (that’s what happens right) and he just tiredly lays there with absolutely no energy to reach out

Sam: My name’s Sam and I play guitar in Counterfeit. Jamie: I’m Jamie I sing in Counterfeit and play guitar badly. It’s our first time here playing and as punters as well. So I’m keen, I’m keen for a bit of Reading. We’re actually coming back on Sunday as well to come hang out and check out some more bands. So up to Leeds tomorrow, back down on Sunday. Sammy B.

Sam: Hello. Jamie: I have some questions for you. Sam: For me? Jamie: Are you ready? Sam: Uh, I think so. Jamie: What was your most listened to album in high school? Sam: Take Off Your Pants And Jacket by Blink 182 was my most listened to I think in high school, it was non stop. Jamie: Good album. Sam: Strong record. Alright James B. Listeners back home, they wanna know what was the first album that you bought? Jamie: The first album that I bought was probably a record called Chicago by a band called Chicago. Sam: Okay. Jamie: Well actually Chicago Transit Authority as they were back then. It was from my local record store in Petersfield where you and I obviously grew up. Sam: I remember it well yeah yeah yeah. Jamie: But that was the first album I ever bought, we were fortunate enough to be able to go into our mums office when we were young and basically just raid her entire stock of like Now 34’s cos she was like A&R. So we used to just go in there like we’ll take this. Sam Bower. What was the first gig you went to? Sam: It was a U2 headline but Kelis was the first support on so technically it was Kelis which was wicked. Jamie: It was on the Elevation tour I believe. Sam: The Elevation tour yes. Very cool. Alright, James Bower. What is your favourite city to have a day off in? Jamie: Venice. Sam: Strong. Jamie: We’ve been fortunate enough to play Venice once, well sort of close to Venice anyway and it’s an amazing city. It’s kind of like Disneyland for older people. Sam. What is your most used emoji? Sam: I love the prawn emoji. I love the duck emoji. And the crane is one that’s often overlooked, very detailed emoji. I never use them to express myself. It’s more of a conformation like to brighten someones day with a duck or something like that. Onto the next. James Bower. What was the last song you listened to? Jamie: Probably Brainfreeze by Decade. Literally just had that on in the van in my headphones. Sam: Okay James this is a tough one. Jamie: Okay. Sam: Umm. Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw? Jamie: Slytherin.
