Notes: A teaser of something I had in my mind for a while. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

You fixed your posture when the leather boots came to a halt right before you. There was silence for a moment, such silence that you could hear a ringing sound in your ears. Not even the creaking sound of the ship made it go away

“Eyes up here, love.” His voice caused the ringing to stop as you tore your gaze away from his boots. You were met with dark brown eyes looking back at your (e/c) ones. He wore a white cotton shirt that was tucked into some black trousers topped off with a flamboyant feather hat and gold jewelry.

Captain Holland.

It was his red frock coat decorated with gold accents that gave it away. That name has struck fear in many brave men, including your father. You see, he was the most feared pirate, and very much still is. You knew all too well about him due to your father.

“Oh? So you know who I am?” His cocky voice snapped you out of your thoughts as you internally cursed for saying his name aloud by accident. He chuckled at your flustered self.

“And who may I have the pleasure of addressing?”

Without any hesitation you tell him your name, hoping that the quicker you fulfill his requests the quicker he’ll leave you alone.

“Well (y/n), you shall accompany me”
