I do think it’s important for people to remember the graphics update is still a WIP. I see a lot of people nitpicking about small details that very easily could be bugs or just unfinished parts. Nothing is final until Dawntrail actually drops, and you should be leaving feedback on forums if you’d really like to see something adjusted.

That being said, it’s also important to differentiate which things you dislike are genuine criticism and which things are just nostalgia/attachment to the current look. It’s not going to be exactly the same, but it’s a huge important step forward for the game’s future to make these updates. Your WoL is still your WoL. Just in a slightly updated style. Same as if you commissioned a new portrait of them 3 years after an old one and the artist’s style grew and changed with time.

My beautiful little conure THREW A SEED INTO HER FOUNTAIN AND GREW A PLANT

Found it in the filter when cleaning the fountain. I’m 99% sure it’s safflower bc that’s what she gets as treats, but I don’t know what to do with it now lol. Do I grow it? Do I let her eat it? Can she even eat a safflower plant this far beyond a sprout?

Forgive my poor graphic design, but here's some direct comparisons of my lizard if anyone wanted to see one.

The only things changed in the crimes are making the scales not blue tinted + the eyes. Shaders were turned off for all images, so these are in vanilla lighting/colors.

Her eyes feel strange bc I'm used to the dark ones, but that's very much a her problem and not a problem with the graphics update. The update itself looks fantastic, I'm super excited!

What's your Chocobo's name?

mine's called Kweh'sant.

I named my main’s chocobo Bubba, after an old cockatiel of mine! He did jokingly become General Bubba for awhile (which is where my old url came from if anyone remembers that)
