Characterwise Akhenaten is still a work in progress, so I probably won’t immediately jump into trying to plot or do threads and focus on asks and development for the near future.

I know that it’s been debunked in real life but for Fate I do like to lean on the old theory that Atenism was the direct ancestor to Judaism and Christianity, if modified to allow for the fact that Ozymandias is the Pharaoh from Exodus in Fate. Egypt seems to be lowkey important to the greater setting anyway, with the Atlas alchemists claiming that their organization was descended from Isis, alchemy still being descended from Egypt, Nitocris’s skill sheet implying that Egyptian magecraft is the precursor to many forms of modern magecraft, and the fact that Merlin just comes out and says that Ancient Egypt’s earliest dynasties are the other pillar at the foundation of the Human Order alongside Uruk.

Not to mention that tying the Church to Akhenaten means I get to shamelessly repurpose scripture and rip the holy sacraments used by the Church as the basis for Akhenaten’s magecraft.
