This episode was percabeth, them hugging, Percy finally saying they are friends, them being alone together for the first time after capture the flag, annabeth calling him seaweed brain again, percy sacrificing himself AGAIN, annabeths monologe about percy being better than there fucked up system

Giving Echnida the possibility of explaining how from her point of view the roles of Demigods and Monsters are switched, is not only another great new interpretation of an antagonist but also opens space for more discussion. Like is there even a good and bad side to demigods and monsters or are they simply to sides of the same coin both made by the gods, both used by the gods, both trying to secure there survival. With Medusa and now Echnida I believe that monsters explaining there own version of the story will be a reoccuring theme in the TV show.

This new Interpretation of Medusa in the new episode of Percy jackson, as a survivor of abuse that directs her pain, because of missing justice, against people that she associates with her abusers, shows not only how much Rick Riordan has grown as a storyteller and interpreter of mythology but also how much we as a community have grown in interpreting and understanding the deeper meaning of mythological storys and the context they were made in.

Dionysus telling Percy he is his dad makes me question how many times he has already tried that. How many times did Chiron kick a kid out of the Dionysus Cabine because he didn't explain it as early as with Percy? How many unclaimed became confused when they got claimed while stile thinking Dionysus was there dad?
