-he called out a portrait (i think) saying he had freckles and not some other thing. he’s so cute i wanna cry

-HES SO TALL AND LANKY AND HAS BLUE EYES AND BRIGHT HAIR AND FAIR EYELASHES. I HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM (adult-ron, pls, don’t misunderstand me)

-ron’s pyjamas are always a tiny bit too short on him

-ron threw a crocodile heart at draco

-ron punched draco in the battle of hogwarts (that being draco’s last appearance until the epilogue)

-ron looking at hermione in hbp even if they were mad. and wanting to talk to her after christmas (and other few times) with no luck :(

-ron spying on hermione and asking people from other houses about her to find out what she was up to during 3rd year when they weren’t speaking to each other

-ron said that bill always understood him and i love that bc considering his relationship with his other siblings this warms my heart

-ron literally seeing the bright side of things and being always happy for his friends, encouraging them.

i weep anytime i think about how ron was the first person harry found that loved him (aside obviously his parents but he doesn’t remember. i’m strictly talking about what he remembers) and he found love for the first time in him. years back when i went to the hp london studios i was the only one crying when i saw tiny ron and harry at the train. they’re everything to me bye.

I completely understand what you are saying and I agree with you. I don't think canon Ron would ever do that or Hermione would even tolerate it. She would hex him into next week if he ever does anything she doesn't want.

But allow me to provide an explanation. These kind of smut fics are explicitly written and enjoyed by women. Many women have dark fetish of being powerless and submissive to a powerful man whom they can trust. Its just a fantasy. Many women who enjoy such things probably would run in the opposite direction if they ever encounter such a scenario irl.

That doesn't make them okay though. I understand the squick. Personally I am not a fan of such dynamic either but I do enjoy Ron being powerful and dominant 😂😛

I love new romione casting. arabella and alistair seem great choices BUT ron is supposed to have blue eyes not brown like alistair :-(

they did good with hermione but fumbled a little with ron in terms of physical description

I find it too difficult to sexualize movie cast. It feels so unfomfy when Emma Watson appears on one of the smut fics cover. Infact it makes me SO uncomfortable that one of the main reasons I have stopped generating ai pics because it always makes her as Hermione. I grew up watching that kid. To me she will always be it's leviosaaa girl lmao.

Hermione is an ink on paper and a fictional character. I have no trouble sexualizing her when she is an adult. But Emma Watson makes me uncomfortable.

Arabella Stanton is not white. She is mixed race. I wanna see what a white privileged boy calling an oppressed person of color a racial slur repeatedly looks like in the show. Emma Watson is white so Malfoys mudblood slur didn't hit as much hard as it should have. Oh boy 😬
