Theme: Iwazaru (speak no evil) Semblance: Silenced - Keralis' semblance allows him to create sonic waves anytime he raises his voice, which is why he speaks in a soft and quiet tone and covers up his mouth with a mask.

BDoubleO100

Theme: Mizaru (see no evil) Semblance: Explosive Glare - BDubs can blow up anything he sees so long as they have thermal energy thanks to his thermal vision, which also allows him to see through his bandana but not harm anyone.

TangoTek

Theme: Kikazaru (hear no evil) Semblance: Lock On! - Tango locks onto a specific person in order to launch himself at them to attack at supersonic speed, however by doing so he loses all sense of hearing.

Theme: Zeus Semblance: Insight - her semblance's name is quite a play on words, as she is able to shift perspectives and see what others can see., like using her pet eagle to survey high areas. She's unable to move during it, but unknowingly creates an electrical barrier to protect herself.

What IS HermitDust AU? - a masterpost

Hey there, I'm Zylis (@zylisticart) and I made this blog to make it more convenient for myself to post Hermitcraft RWBY au content.

"So what's HermitDust?"

HermitDust, or "Of Dust and Of Ash", is an alternate universe I made wherein hermits of the s8 world have elements of the web show RWBY - things such as Grimm (monsters of darkness), auras and semblance (powers specific to each character), and dust (sources of energy) exist in this world.

You could also say this is a reboot of my old Hermitcraft RWBY AU, instead taking place in s8.

Theme: The Nightingale (Hans Christian Andersen) Semblance: Song of Nightingale - creates auditory hallucinations as a form of distraction.

Theme: The Cat In The Hat (Dr. Seuss) Semblance: The Cat In The Hat - he can create mirages or mimics of animals, but always chooses Jellie. The quantities of his companions is limited to their size; big Jellie can spawn in minimal amounts to one, while tiny Jellies can spawn in hoards.

Theme: The Moon (The Grimm Brothers) Semblance: The Moon - summons a mini moon in her hands that darkens the area of effect and can strip its radius of oxygen and gravity. The closer to eclipse, the darker yet weaker effect, but the opposite goes for the full moon, which is at its brightest yet strongest effects. Phases coincide with the actual moon phases.

Theme: Alice in Wonderland Semblance: The Rabbit Hole - can make holes that serve as gateways. It's better to know the place like the back of Mumbo's hand for optimal usage. The farther you travel, the longer it will take to create one.
