Hey loves, we are a mystery roleplay with a twist. Our plot revolves around the town of Hermosa Beach where a teen has recently gone missing. Every character is dealing with things in their own way, and some may not even care at all. Nobody knows what happened to Robin, except for someone who is hiding a dark secret.

Afternoon all! I’m going out to a neighbours house to help them with a contest later so I won’t be on much in the next couple hours, but I should be back on a little later, around 9pm BST. I’m also going to be posting that clue from the evidence blog later today, so make sure you look out for it!

So now that we’re back and active, our evidence blog (make sure you follow it here!) will be posting some spoilers and hints to Robin’s case and what may have happened to her. Later tonight we will have out first real clue posted and we invite every member to send in tips, clues, information and hate to the evidence blog. We want the blog to be interactive for everyone, so please feel free to send in whatever you feel your character would if they were reading the blog. It’s like a character in its own right, being voiced by someone who doesn’t believe the hype about Miss Ammon and who wants everyone to know what really happened in her life. Make sure you check it for updates!

It’s really great to see some more people on the timeline now that holidays are starting and everyone's a little less stressed. We still have so much planned and now that we’re more active again, maybe we can get going with some more of our plans!

Talullah and her younger sister, Whitney, grew up in a lovely family with two parents who loved them. They had a good life while their parents were both working good jobs and had a steady, decent paycheck coming in for each. But in January Talullah got a call while attending one of her classes at UCHB, her parents had been in a car accident and were in the intensive care unit at their nearest hospital. She immediately got her sister from school and drove them both to the hospital where they were being treated, but they were too late. Their mother had passed away in the hospital bed while their father never regained consciousness from the crash scene.

THE LIGHT THAT SHINES IN THE DARK, I COULDN’T SEE

Tallulah had to drop out of college to look after her sister who now attends UCHB, she’s working two jobs to try and stay on top of family bills and keep the house their parents left to them.

She was supposed to finish her classes in Film Studies and move out to L.A for a summer internship which was likely to lead to a full time career working for a production company, but she couldn’t leave her sister here and she wasn’t going to drag her out to L.A. Tallulah was popular, a cheerleader in High School with a boyfriend on the Football team, like a regular American Teen. All she wanted was to be happy and to be someone worth knowing. In college, she moved onto another boyfriend who was handsome but ultimately didn’t treat her right. That’s when she got involved with an older, married man. It wasn’t right but she couldn’t seem to stop herself. When her parents found out they could barely look at her, everything seemed to fall apart and their relationship never recovered.

She regrets so many of her decisions. She just needed her parents to be proud of her but they passed away before that could happen, so now she’s taken their role in trying to raise Whitney the best she can.

❤ Aiden West - Tallulah and Aiden have been working at Barney’s together for some time. They haven’t spoken much, they don’t get many shifts together, but she doesn’t have a problem with him.

I know we haven’t been posting and it’s awful! We’re so sorry about being absent on the main, all the admins have had so much work to do for school, it’s been busy, but thankfully I will be done with deadlines tomorrow and have a two week break to just be here and thread with you guys. I’m also going to be picking up a third character soon, so you’ll see her around!

As a child, Kelsie was one of two daughters of a rich couple, who always made sure she had everything that she needed, even if her father was a bit absent. After her mother passed away, she and her sister got closer, though Kelsie fell into drugs and partying. Courtney was the only one who could talk some sense into her and when she was murdered, she hit rock bottom hard for several years until finally pulling out of it herself. Now, despite having a successful job, she uses boys as a distraction from her past.

Kelsie is one of two daughters of a successful CEO. Her father worked hard and always seemed to be busy, but he was always sure to make sure that they understood that he loved them, usually through gifts. Kelsie and her twin sister, Courtney, were showered with presents ever since they were little and any time that her father had off was spent with them. Still, they always begged him to spend more time with them, despite knowing that he was unable to. Their mother, however, worked at a local elementary school and her hours off coincided with their own, meaning that the two sisters always had a parent at home to give them attention and affection, even if the other was busy with work.

Fifteen years ago, however, a sudden car accident resulted in the death of their mother. Kelsie and her sister, in their mourning, clung to each other. They were both fourteen and entering one of the hardest times in their lives. Their father became distant, throwing himself into his work to avoid confronting his grief and leaving them to learn to fend for themselves. Despite growing closer, however, they ended up straying away from each in school. Courtney delved into drama and chorus, making friends and expressing herself in a creative manner. Kelsie, however, got caught up with the wrong crowd, being introduced to drugs and parties and practically abandoning her school work until she began failing several classes despite being rather intelligent. The only reason she graduated towards the top of her class was because Courtney, who she continued to be close to despite their many differences, talked some sense into her, pulling her back on track during her Junior Year.

Right after graduation, another tragedy hit. Courtney disappeared one day after hanging out with several of her friends. Her body was discovered a week later. Horrified and filled with grief over the loss of her sister and closest friend, Kelsie began to spiral out of control for several years, falling into drugs and alcohol yet again. Only, this time, she didn’t have Courtney to pull her out of it. For four years, she lived off of her father’s money, wandering aimlessly through life, never able to get over her sister’s demise, especially due to the fact that her murderer was never found. However, time led to her reevaluating her life. Determined to do something meaningful, she went back to school, got a degree, and began to work as a computer programmer. She began to date around, going through boys every other day in order to keep her mind off of her past. This habit of hers spiraled out of control until she found herself dating multiple boys at once, trying desperately to hide it from them. She found that she didn’t really care for them but she didn’t know what she would do if she lost them.

A pair of searchers in Valley Park have uncovered a friendship bracelet underneath a bush in the park. It has been identified by Robin’s mother as a gift from a friend that her daughter never took off. This discovery has heightened police suspicion as to foul play being involved in the teenagers disappearance and Valley Park has now been sectioned off for a police-only search.

how active is this rp , honestly?

Honestly? I’m surprised it’s as active as it is considering all the mock exams and deadlines we all have! I’ve gone through and counted the replies since I went to sleep (and I’m England so there was only a few waking hours for the Americans since then) and there’s been 10+ posts on the timeline, not including queued posts and main posts, I’ve had contact from four of our members about plotting and other things, and the OOC is active too. 

I know a lot of groups say that they’re active when they get this question but we really are active, it’s a great group and I personally feel blessed to have the members we do.
