i am physically unwell

like im fucking physically sick

i feel so bad for gibsie i cant breathe

the way none of us would have ever imagined while reading the other books that all of this was happening to him

and the way lizzie kept ripping into him and telling him he should have died instead of his sister and everyone was excusing it because she was hurt — while the whole time gibsie was so fucking hurt and he never hurt anyone back because of it

and thats the thing is that he has more right than any of them to be a fucking horrible person but he became the complete opposite — hes such a sweetheart and such a kind boy i love him so much

the way he kept repeating “im always okay” and then the revelation of where he got that from😭

i am fucking sick

the final straw for me was the scene after it all went down and johnny just holds him and cries

that’s when i couldnt do it anymore

bro after claire revealed what happened, lizzie should have been on her knees BEGGING for gibsie’s forgiveness — and instead she says he made it up?????? what????? shes absolutely irredeemable at this point i dont care

she should have been sobbing and hugging him and telling him shes sorry for how shes been treating him all this time when this is what hes been going through

it hurts sm i feel so bad for him

when will has vampire blood in his system and wasn’t thinking clearly and was SO terrified he would confess everything to tessa he had to literally beg her to leave:

A look of intense pain flashed across his face. "God. Tessa." and mild. The words seemed dragged out of him. "Please. Just leave. I can't have you here. It's--not possible."

"Will, please"

"No." He jerked his gaze away from hers, averting his face, his eyes fixed on the floor. "Till tell you anything you want to know tomorrow. Anything. Just leave me alone now." His voice broke unevenly. "Tessa. I'm begging you. Do you understand? I'm begging you. Please, please leave."

how could anyone ever doubt that it was going to be will from the beginning when these scenes in clockwork angel exist?:

He was about to say them when a jolt of terror went through him, the terror of someone who, wandering in a mist, pauses only to realize that they have stopped inches from the edge of a gaping abyss. The way she was looking at him -she could read what was in his eyes. he realized. It must have been written plainly there, like words on the pages of a book.”

im actually kind of confused as to why jem would ask tessa to marry him, and why he acted like he had no idea that will loved tessa in clockwork princess.

because in clockwork angel he kept commenting on the fact that he noticed that will found tessa pretty and that will would always go after her whenever there was danger.

so then wasn’t it obvious that will liked her, especially to jem who was his best friend and parabatai?

“A blur of motion exploded behind Charlotte; it was will, followed by a wild-eyed vampire brandishing a silver pistol. He pointed it at Will, aimed, and fired. Will dived out of the way and skidded across the bloody floor. He rolled to his feet, and bounded up onto a velvet-seated chair. Ducking another shot, he leaped again, and Tessa watched with amazement as he ran lightly along the backs of a row of chairs, leaping down from the last of them. He whirled to face the vampire, now a distance from him across the room. Somehow a short-bladed knife gleamed in his hand, though Tessa had not seen him draw it. He threw it.

The vampire ducked aside, but was not quite fast enough; the knife sank into his shoulder. He roared in pain and was reaching for the knife when a slim, dark shadow reared up out of nowhere. There was a flash of silver, and the vampire blew apart in a shower of blood and dust. As the mess cleared, Tessa saw Jem, a long blade still raised in his fist. He was grinning, but not at her; he kicked the silver pistol- now lying abandoned among the vampire's remains hard, and it skidded across the floor, fetching up at Will's feet. Will nodded toward Jem with a return of his grin, swept the pistol off the floor, and shoved it through his belt.”

he believed that if anyone loved him they would die, so if they were alive, then he just went on believing that they didn’t love him.
