News for a special Hetalia x Rokko: Sound of the Forest museum collaboration event has been announced!

The event will be held from May 23rd to August 22nd with the event theme of "Music Travel"! The museum will have concert-like exhibits featuring automatic instruments from Europe and the US, such as music boxes from their collection.

In addition, the museum's SIKI sound walkway garden will be open to guests featuring over 300 different species of plants and flowers from around the world! The exhibit will also include sales of original goods, a cafe collaboration, a display of the original animation drawings, and scripts signed by the voice actors themselves!

Times and Dates

Event period: May 23rd to August 22nd First period: May 23rd to July 9th Second period: July 11th to August 22nd

Event Details

Admission ticket with original goods will be ¥1,800 yen each, featuring a three-piece set featuring original illustrations! The three piece set of goods will include:

Purchases for regular admission will still allow you to access the exhibits and concerts. For regular admission, the prices are:

Event hours will be from 10 AM JST to 5 PM JST (registration will close at 4:30 PM JST). The museum will be closed every Thursday except for July 24th to November 27th. Reservations are ¥550 yen for each person! The delivery deadline for advanced reservation will be 10:00 AM JST the day before your visit.

How to Make a Reservation

In order to make a reservation, you would first need to obtain LINE, a Japanese instant messaging app, and make an account within it first. The photos shown below are in order with the corresponding steps.

You can tap "and GALLERY mini-applications" at the bottom of the LINE app.

Tap event booking.

Select your the cafe collaboration and store.

Tap "Search by date" and then you select the date you would like to book.

Tap the time frame you'd want to reserve.

Verify that the time and place is correct, then tap "Proceed to application".

Fill out the required information and then tap "Confirm application". Note: If you want to make a reservation with multiple people, you will need a representative to book for your group.

Reservation complete!

Cancellations and Refunds

Reservations can be made until 10am the day before the desired visit. Anytime after that will not be possible to book. You are limited to reserving to only 6 slots. Reservations can be cancelled until 10am the day before the reservation and can be done through the LINE app. If you must cancel for any reason, any time after that, you must contact the store so you can receive a refund.

Additional Information

Walk-ins are possible only if there is a vacant seat or a cancelled reservation.

Pets are not allowed to enter the store.

Entry is granted 10 minutes earlier before the reservation time.

If you do not appear within the first 15 minutes of the reservation, it will be treated as a cancellation.

Be sure to prepare for your check-in in advance. You will need to bring an ID and use the LINE GALLERY mini-app to scan the QR code when entering the store.

Elementary aged customers can enter with a guardian.

Reservation and visitor benefits will only be distributed to those who visits the store.

There will be a limited supply of goods.

If you are late to your reservation time, there will be no extension.

Reselling is prohibited.

You cannot change your selected date and time.

Changes of representatives are accepted until 10 AM the day before the reservation. If your representative cannot make it, you must bring a photo of them and their ID.

State of the Blog

Hey everyone! Thought I'd follow up with a short update regarding the state of Hetalian Historian right now:

News - Still being caught up on! For the past 2 weeks... there has been an absurd amount of new Hetalia stuff and a lot of them are significant. I'd imagine it's around 3-4 more posts I need to make, especially a continuation regarding my previous post. This is currently my top priority until I am all caught up.

Translation Masterlist - I had a couple of asks regarding the masterlist I've made, especially with the disappearance of part 2. This will be my next priority after I'm all caught up with the news, especially since it needs heavy revamping. I ended up deleting part 2 since at the time, Verusmayaii took down all their translations, so it ended up being a list of deadlinks. However, they have now resume translation! I'll have to recreate the new post and update part 1 as well with a couple of new links. Stay tuned!

Asks - There are still a couple of asks in my inboxes I have yet to answer, mainly regarding the deletion of part 2 of the masterlist. There is also one more ask I have been meaning to get to, in which if you're the person who sent in the ask about further context regarding the Buon San Valentino comic, I'll get to you! I've been asking some people around regarding the comic, and I'll be sure to follow up with an answer very soon. Apologies for the wait!

Future of Hetalian Historian - I've also mentioned within an ask that I planned to release a post regarding my recent inactivity and the future the blog, and that was meant to be released last week! My apologies once again for that. It seems to be I overestimated myself, my time, and my energy to make that post, so I'm changing the expectancy date TBD. Since I want to get everything up to date first, which is taking it's own time AND properly plan out the post through and clear enough regarding the changes in my life and what that means for the blog.

New upcoming Hetalia Valentine's and White Day cafe collaboration event to be held!

The event will be held from February 14th to March 16th, held in Harajuku, Shinsaibashi and Nagoya! The event will come along new merchandise and menu items, with each dish and drinking being based off on each character! The event will split into two halves ranging from February 14th-28th, and March 1st-16th in order to vary menu options! (Ex: Italy's drink can be ordered throughout February, however it will be unavailable from March onwards)! There will also be free novelty items given away throughout the event!

Menu (February 14th-28th)

For America, Hot Dogs and a Coke Float! The dish will cost ¥1,500 yen. Notable allergies include: wheat, eggs, dairy product, soybeans, pork, beef, and chicken.

For China, Boiled Dumplings and Flower Tea! The dish will cost ¥1,050 yen each. Notable allergies include: wheat, chicken, pork, soy.

For Japan, Rice Dumpling Set and Matcha Late! The dish will cost ¥1,250 yen each. Notable allergies include: soybeans and dairy product.

For Italy, Ponna Cotta and Bicerin! The dish will cost ¥1,150 yen each. Notable allergies include: dairy products, gelatin, apples, and kiwi fruit.

Menu (March 1st-16th)

For Germany, Weisswurst and Apfelschölle! The dish will cost ¥1,350 yen each. Notable allergies include: wheat, dairy product, and pork.

Hetalia: The Beautiful World will receive a screening feature at the 3rd Animan Festival!

As one of the popular works for Studio Deen, it will receive a feature screening! The event will take place on February 24th at the Musashino Public Hall, Musashino! The screening will run from 2:00 PM JST to 4:20 PM JST! The episode to be screened will remain a secret until the actual airing. Admissions will be free via TIGET application. You can sign up for the event through the TIGET website! Bonus: This is also the first time the animehetalia account has tweeted anything on its own in 5 years!
