Whenever Luffy isn't getting his way with his partners he just kisses them until they stop arguing

Usopp doesn't wanna go explore with luffy because he's scared? Luffy just kisses him until he's red and stuttering and just lets himself be dragged by the hand

Sanji doesn't wanna let Luffy have meat before dinner? Luffy kisses him until Sanji finally gives in ("fine! Here you go idiot captain, just let me finish cooking in peace")

Law doesn't want to take a break and nap with Luffy? Luffy kisses him all over his face until law can't possibly concentrate on his work anymore and let's Luffy manhandle him into a comfortable napping position

He's a bit spoiled probably, and his partners are definitely making it worse but they're Happ as long as they keep getting kisses

I read somewhere that Luffy is so keen on being friends with Law because Law is the first person in his life to ever approach him first. In every other relationship, it was Luffy asking, or demanding, to be friends first.

And I haven't been the same ever since.

Here are some of my favorite things about Luffy ships that I ship

Zolu

Luffy x Zoro

Theyre the incarnation of dumb and dumber but in a way that they completely understand each other and everyone else is like, wow they're so dumb.

Zoro was the only straw hat that Luffy intentionally seeked out. He heard the story of "The Demon of The East" and went, yep I want that one.

They hold each other accountable on a level that goes so much deeper than captain and first mate.

Zoro not believing in God and Luffy literally becoming a God.

They both have one train of thought, protect the crew, accomplish goal, and eat/sleep

Sanlu

Luffy x Sanji

The saying the way to a man's heart is through his stomach is the case for the both of these two.

Literally all of Whole Cake Island

Luffy decided that he wanted Sanji on his crew because of how kind he was. Before he knew his fighting skills or even because he was a chef. He saw Sanji feed someone in need and didn't think twice about recruiting him.

A boy who was locked away in a prison as a child fighting alongside the embodiment of freedom and liberation.

Lunami

Luffy x Nami

Theyre possibly canon (kicks my feet like a little kid)

Feral x Tame but they swap on which is which

Literally all of Drum Island, Arlong Park, and Fishman Island

He needs her to help accomplish his dream and she needs him to help her accomplish her dream

He knows that she's strong and treats her so even though she doesn't have any devil fruit powers or proper training in fighting.

Silly x Stressed, No Thoughts x Overthinker

In the official art of the aged up characters, Luffy's the reason that Law has so much gray hair.

Luffy literally thought an alliance with him was gonna be them becoming besties and Law freaked out

I’m kinda lost in One Piece…. I did see Zoro

Mihawk: Crocodile, I was thinking of us arranging a marriage between my son and yours

Crocodile: Zoro won’t marry Luffy

Mihawk: and what’s wrong with my boy?

Crocodile: nothing’s wrong with Zoro, but Luffy wouldn’t marry him either.

Mihawk: -frown- why?

Crocodile: Luffy’s 19 let him just be free from marriage contracts, I said No Hancock!

Hancock: he should marry me.

Crocodile: No! No one is marrying Luffy! Also why are you asking me not Garp?

Hancock: Dragon laughed at me.

Mihawk: Garp did to me as well.

Crocodile: and Why not Ivankov?

Hancock: He laughed and said only his prefect Princess who went through bride training can, and then when i demanded he teach me, he laughed and Sicced that Sabo on me.

Crocodile: did you ask Shanks?

Mihawk: Shanks’ eye twitched and his crew told me to run.

Crocodile: Buggy?

Hancock: and Why Buggy?

Crocodile: He’s Shanks’ husband!

Hancock: we could try

Mihawk: Don’t bother, Buggy has probably heard from Shanks about our questions

Zoro: -walks in- Luffy’s been in love with that shitty cook since we found him on that fish boat restaurant. Shit how did I get here?
