to knock out the rest of my requests

Finish my Luca fic that I started back during the summer

Finish a Hex fic I started LAST YEAR

write some Headcanons for Vanta since I've been watching him a lot recently

Will I be successful? No probably not but I can probably deliver on that Luca fic and the requests for sure. My school semester ends next month so that'll free up sometime in between working (and playing BG3) to hopefully give me the space to sit down and write 🗣️🗣️

It had been a long day at work. You're burnt out having to do overtime, your boss had been nagging you all day and all you wanted to do was go back to your apartment with your lovely boyfriend lay down and die.

When you finally clock out for the day you feel the rest of the weight of commuting home start to cave on you. "Only a little longer." You sigh to yourself. Your eyes feel heavy and your body feels like it could give out at any moment.

Finally reaching home you fumble for your keys and unlock the door. The smell of food wafts through your nose as soon as you open the door. "Darling is that you?" You hear Hex call from the kitchen. "Yeah it's me." You responded weakly as you set down your stuff and took off your shoes.

You trek into the kitchen, Hex is a sight to behold. He's in an apron, cooking the most delicious meal you've ever seen. "You've been busy." You smile at him. He sighs at you. "So have you! I mean you must be exhausted darling. I just wanted to help out by making you some food so you wouldn't have to deal with that when you got home." He smiles.

You could cry, and you do. He's just so caring and you had such a long day. You sniffle and sob. Hex shuts off the stove and rushes to your side.

He guides your sobbing form to the sofa and gently strokes your back. Once both of you are sat you immediately crawl into his arms and hiccups out a few more sobs. Hex gently shushes, continuing to rub small circles into your back. "Tough day?" He gently prods. You nod silently. "I've got you, I don't want you to worry about anything else tonight." Hex kisses the top of your head.

After holding you for a while you eventually calm down. "Thank you for being amazing Hex. I genuinely don't know what I'd do without you." He smiles warmly at you. "I don't know what I'd do without you, you're amazing and you do so much. I'm just here to remind you that you're loved and I'm extremely proud of you." You squeeze him tightly. " If you want we can take a little nap before you eat? " he suggested. " I'd like that idea." You say as you cozy up on the couch with him and drift off into a nap.

Hey gang, I'm not doing so great.

Personal vent post ahead. But the TLDR is; requests are gunna slow down even more for a bit due to some catastrophic changes in my life.

On Tuesday my car broke down, after only having it back from being 8 months out of commission for about 3-4 months, and I'm honestly devastated. I'm still paying off my last repair bill and now I get to pay for another one woohoo!!! We looooove not having money.

I still have gotten no word what's wrong with it but I'm 90% sure it's the exact same issue that took out my car last time. The repair shop is also located in another city than which I live in bc I was visiting my sister at the time. That being said I'm extremely down on life right now, so if my writing seems even more sparse than usual it's because of this situation.

I genuinely feel empty. I've been trying to save up to move out but every time I build up a little bit of money it seems like it goes right back into my car. Being at home my car is really my only source of free will I have so having that stripped away again is dark. My family is incredibly fortunate to have another car that I can borrow to get me to work and school so it's not all bad.

Anyway I just wanted to update you all. My writing style tends to go more comfort ficy when I'm not doing great so expect a couple of those on top of a few requests I'm trying my hardest to work on.

Thank you for your time and patience with me during this extremely difficult time.

I wanted to write something as a send off, I'm feeling a lot of emotions. This week has also been the worst and losing Mysta on top of that is... A lot for me to process. I moved to Japan last year for a bit and the first week I was scared shitless and then the Luxiem cafe was announced and everything felt okay again. Luxiem will always be 5 and I will always be a Mystake ❤️💛🧡💙💜

Mysta pats your head softly. "I know I appreciate you coming by." He moves aside so you can step into his empty office.

"I still can't believe you're actually leaving." You shift from foot to foot, restless." There are more mysteries to be solved, you know it'd be bad for me to stay here, I have a new adventure waiting for me. " Your eyes well with tears." I know... But... I'm gunna miss you." The flood gates break and you let out a soft sob. Mysta sighs and grabs a tissue and dabs the edge of your eyes. "You know, before coming here I felt lost. Solving the mystery I did in the city made me find my purpose again. Meeting the people I did made me find my life's purpose again." He's quiet for a moment." I'm gunna miss you too, but this is something I have to do. You know that as well as I do."

Mysta wraps you in a hug. The past few years rush back to you and you wrap your arms around him. "I know, as much as I curse that you have to leave... Mysta I wish you nothing but happiness." You smile through the tears.

Think of all the laughs and goofs he's brought to your life. The moment you were at your lowest the detective was always nearby. Even when you moved to a new area Mysta was there to help you through it. He's always been a constant and now he wasn't going to be there. "I will never forget everything you've done for me." You sob. Mysta gets a little choked up before responding." Thank you. For everything, I won't forget you either remember if there's a mystery you need solved... You know who to call." He beams before pulling you in for one last hug.
