- Spot has literally never called Davey by his name in his life. it's ALWAYS "mouth"

- sprace and javid Double dates always end up with spot and Davey trying to prevent Jack and Race from being something stupid

- Davey made one comment about Spots height and was chased around for 30 minutes. He never brought it up again.

- Spot didn't realise that Davey is more sensitive than the other newsies, so when bantering, Spot will never go for Davey because he doesn't want him to cry again

- Spot and Sarah bestie agenda (Davey hates this)

- Davey found out that Spot couldn't ride a bike (because of a rough childhood), so he taught him, and they fell over like 8 times

- After this, Spot found out Davey couldn't swim so he pushed him into the brooklyn harbour and watched him flail about for a while until going to get him (Spot was a much meaner teacher than Davey was)

- they once had a really deep and meaningful talk that they will never bring up again ever.

- Spot tried to teach Davey how to slingshot ad well, but Davey kept somehow hitting himself

- every now and then, they team up to make fun of Jack and see who can annoy him most

Dally is that person who lives in New York for a short period of time, and then constantly reminds everyone of that fact at every opportunity forever.

He’s that person who comes back saying he’s “from New York” even though he lived there for three years, with a New York accent he claims is natural even though it’s obviously affected, uses New York slang to show off but pretends it just slipped out, “right I forgot, you don’t know what that means, that’s what they call it in New York,” who drops “when I was in New York……” into conversations as much as humanly possible.

It drives the gang crazy.

“I’m from New York.” “He’s from here.”

“Spent mosta my life in New York.” “Three years outta seventeen, that’s most?”

“I still ain’t used to how quiet it is here in Tulsa.” “You. Are. From. Here.”

(Bonus from canon: “Man, I thought New York was the only place to end up in a murder rap.” “Dally, we are in crisis. We just killed someone. Can you find another place to casually slip in your New York cred?”)

Olive skin is actually just the way of describing the undertone of someone's skin. Ralph Macchio who is Italian has olive skin. Because its not specified it’s up to he reader to determine what race they think Johnny is. But olive skin is not a “black skin tone” and is actually more common in individuals of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and South Asian descent.

- No matter how evil and terrifying spot may portray himself to be, Jack will always see him as his baby brother, who is just misunderstood

- Jack taught spot how to swim one day when they were younger, and spot will be forever grateful as now he can swim with his brooklyn newsies

- Jack always ruffles spots hair and spot goes ballistic everytime

- Jack would never admit it, but he's incredibly jealous of spots power and loyalty

- when spot and jack drink together, Jack will act all though and drink more because "he's older", but has a much lower tolerance than Spot and will get hammered and spot will have to take care of him

- once Jack got a haircut and spot laughed so hard that he cried, so Jack wore his hat everyday until it grew back

- everybody bullies spot for his height, but Jack is the WORST for it.

- modern au: I can imagine them both being football captains for the manhattan team and the brooklyn team.

- Jack underestimates spots strength ALL THE TIME, like he expects him to be weak and gets battered when he decides to piss him off

- Jack constantly tries to confiscate the sling shot off him

- they go to each other for genuine, tough love advice
