Different but still Same

Hey! Its me, Camae. A 16-year old girl doing her first ever blog here in Tumblr. Just want to share something with all of you and its about where did I really started to see the world. 16 years of existence, there are two significant places for me that I could tell it has a big part in my growth.

At the moment I was born and the first time I open my eyes, I see the beauty of Marikina City. I was born in my grandmother's house, actually, I was not born in any hospital. I grew in a place where malls is near that's why my family would never forget to have a day for us to wander and bond. Even though we just live in one of the rooms in my grandmother's house, my family build a strong relationship between one another. Just like a typical child back then, I also experienced not to go outside and play because I did not get a nap. I grew with few friends only. We are only just a trio and since we are all girls, we always play girly stuffs. My routine is so simple that there's no exciting story of my childhood in Marikina, always in school and house but seldom of playing outside. Fortunately, when I'm in my 2nd Grade of Elementary, my family transfered in our own house in Montalban. This is where my real childhood started. At first, I got a hard time in adapting my new environment for it is like a province. Malls are far that we needed to ride two trycicles just to get there so we often spend our family time in home. I learned how to play games like 'patintero, tumbang presos, batuhan bola' and many more. I even gained new friends and its new to me because we are not only three. Montalban is the place where I got my first wound because of playing those fun games. This is where I learned how to ride a bicycle which is somehow my passion.

After I graduated in elementary, I and my family decided that I would study in Marikina and stay in my grandmother's house where I really came from. My teenager's life bloomed there. The place where I saw the reality. As a student, I could say that my grandmother's place is more convenient since malls are only nearby. But as a human-being breathing in a polluted air, I saw that my generation is terribly awesome. I always do comparison between people that I met in both places, Marikina and Montalban. People in my age in Marikina are drinking alcohol and smoking that literally make me shocked and I thought that its the opposite in Montalban but its not. I and my friends in Montalban had a talk, he shared something about drinking and smoking that also made me realize that my generation is just the same whether you are in a different place, you will see those kind of teenagers. Actually, I know the taste of alcohol because I can't resist the temptation back then. When I study in Marikina, my friends there were always with me every night. We always walk around in the middle of the night because its not that scary unlike in Montalban, I can't walk around because its dark for there are no streetlights to light the path. My life grew in Marikina but still growing in both places. I am studying in Marikina City but I am living in Montalban, Rizal.

Both places taught me, both gave people for me to learn, and both has a part in my growing life. My childhood life bloomed in Montalban and my teenager's life in Marikina. Now, here I am striving to be ready seeing the whole world in the future.
