So, I’m going to make my post a bit longer than Blake’s because there are a few of you who I really do feel bad for doing this too (and, those, will probably be contacted eventually when I resettle) but I’m with Blake on this. I’m 110% done with all of the OOC cliques and bullshit and trying to make people feel better about themselves for being treated the same way they treat others.
This does not, absolutely does not, apply to all of my followers or partners. And I’m not saying that, those of you who it does apply to, are bad people. I just can’t deal with it. I’m losing my muses and feeling like shit when all I try to do is be nice, and helpful and then hear you say how no one is nice to you.
To those of you that I’m closest with/feel the worst about this with, I’ll message you with personal apologies and will probably stay in contact.
I just can’t keep one muse without just getting into the same stuff, because if I make another account and then just keep the same plots it’s kind of pointless because it’ll still be obvious as to who I am/same groups of people will follow me.
I just.
This is a stress reliever for me, okay? And all the ooc shit makes me not only feel bad about myself, as a person and an rper, but it’s killed my muses. They get nearly ignored, while I’ve tried to reply to multiple opens that just get dropped and then see you complain about how ‘no one interacts with your characters except ____’.
No, sorry, I’m done.
If you want to keep in touch with me, message me and if I make a new indie I’ll let you know.

"Pretty boring, outside of the usual family nonsense. I kind of wish I'd stayed at the castle. But, overall, I guess it was okay. It was nice to get some rest."

After this semester I’ll be halfway done with my undergraduate degree!
LKAJSDF. That moment when you realize this and nearly die.
Like, I often forget that I have so many hours and then I’ll be having a conversation with someone and then remember that I’m nearly halfway done. It’s weird, because all of my friends (that aren’t internationals) are freshman, though. Because I won’t be graduating with them, which is sad. But my best friend finishes the same year I do - kind of. Like, she doesn’t graduate with an undergraduate degree. She’s in a three year pre-pharmacy program that has her finishing the three years, when I graduate. So there’s that at least.
I dunno.
I also feel old.
Though not at the same time because my roommate has already been to the bars twice now and I’m sitting here like ‘yolo, under 21!’

When he called her name, softly, she let out a small sigh before shifting her head so that she could peer at him from behind a curtain of raven hair. His words mean to comfort her but she still felt guilt. She had envied her closest friend, and now she was gone. It was wrong to envy the living, let alone the dead. But Lily's way with people had always put her to shame. Where Lily was kind, Hes was snappy.
Even her blood purist mother had made the joke, about Lily getting married, that even the 'mudblood had found a man, when she could not.' Hes' dating history, and social history, in general was rathy patchy. Besides her closest friends she hadn't kept many friends after school. It was hard, when the war started, to even keep close with those. Ironically, enough, the time when you should treasure such connections she'd lost many of them.
She shook her head, and let out a small bit of laughter. "I wouldn't have pushed you Remus, just as the same way you wouldn't have pushed me on James," her voice quieting, just lightly. "You knew how he felt for Lily, and so did I. I knew that, as a friend, you wouldn't push that line - no matter how deep your feelings. Just as I wouldn't," she commented. Once it had become clear that Lily did, in fact, have feelings for James she had felt ashamed. As if she had crossed a line by liking the dark haired boy, though Lily had until that point been dying ever liking him. "Besides, if you asked my mother I was destined to be a hag anyway," she said with a slight laugh.

"You try and succeed, my dear, and beautiful, friend," Hes comment, letting out a small pit of laughter at the bow. Her own outfit wasn't too much different than Doe's, though the sweater wasn't themed. It was a charcoal grey, just enough grey to create a contrast against Hes' raven hair, and she'd matched it with a pair of black leggings and grey boots. She didn't take like much about the muggle fashion of the 80s but oversized sweaters and leggings were something she found comfortable, and even stylish if worn the right way. "You know, I don't think I could resist charm like your's, Doe," she said, laughing, and giving her friend a quick peck on the cheek. "And neither will any man in the bar, and we'll either find ourselves a good time, or we'll have one of our own with a gew bottles of Fire Whiskey and loud music!"
Cheers to this! || Doe and Hestia
Doe looked down at herself. She was wearing a sweater (that was Christmas themed though the holiday had already passed), black jeans that were probably too tight, and a pair of boots. She wasn’t sure this qualified as looking great, but with Hestia it was usually better to agree. “Well I try,” she said with a slight bow to her invisible audience. “Well you never know Hes, maybe in my drunken haze I will confess how truly and madly in love I am with you. I might even buy you a drink before I take you home,” she grinned with a suggestive raise of her brows. “Yea, you’ll have better luck than I will,” she muttered. Doe hadn’t been on a single date since her canceled wedding nearly four years ago, it was getting a bit pathetic.

Hes grinned at the sight of Mary, nose deep in a book. It was interesting, to her, that someone else shared her love for words binded in leather. She smiled, and shook her head. "Nothing much. What are you reading, Mary?"
+ heyhestia
Mary leaned back in her chair and crossed her legs, the book propped up on her knees. She looked up and grinned. “Sup, Hes?” She muttered with a glance up.

His words gave something away as well. Though he hadn't given away what he was, she knew very well, now, that he wasn't the muggle she'd first presumed he was. Perhaps not a wizard, for he spoke so differently about the magical world than she, but something that wouldn't be taken by surprise of the mythical and magical. Something he wasn't giving up too easily.
"There are certain weapons, thankfully, that don't require the wielder to be knowledgeable about what they aim at. Guns, for example, have the habit of at least harming whatever they come in contact with, even though there are many things in the world they cannot kill," at least not without being specialized, she had learned, from a hunter she'd encountered south of England while on the job. "Knives can usually cut, though the damage might not be permanent. Or as deep," she said with a shrug. But it was his last words that caught her off guard.
She faltered, for a moment, before smiling at him. "I hate to break it to you, but you're not the type of man to get me happy," she cooed before pulling her wand out of her pocket and gripping it tightly in her hand. "Now that I know you're not a muggle, I guess I won't feel bad for hexing you if it be needed," she commented, her wand pointed at him. "But, we could skip the violence if you'd tell me your name and what you are," it was an easy enough of an offer.
“I doubt that.” His reply was smooth and easy — honest. Well, that definitely confirmed it for him. What else would argue so much about a magic carpet, insist on seeing things he hadn’t?
She was a witch.
Had to be.
An angel wouldn’t be so proud, simply derisive, perhaps a little angry at his lack of faith.
Peter had known a few witches over the course of his life, but it had been a long, long time since one showed up in Beacon Hills. Especially one so young. Then again, it seemed he was constantly being surrounded by those who were pitifully young. (It’s probably got something to do with the fact that the previous generation is almost extinct; Peter doesn’t really care.)
“Well, weapons give the image of being prepared. But how do you prepare against what you don’t know?” The game was up, at least for her; he had the advantage in that he’d given no clues as to what he was, only what he knew. “I suppose it could be. It depends on your perception.” His eyes dragged to her hands, stubbornly stuffed into her pockets. “Is that a wand in your pocket or are you just…happy to see me?”

Hes grinned at the ginger haired girl as she pulled away, and nodded. "I've missed you, too! How were your holidays?" She asked, as she pushed back some of her own dark hair. She sat back in her spot, next to the window, with her feet curled up next to her on the bench. "Are you ready for the term?" This time she barely looked at the other witch as she dug through her small pouch looking for a peppermint imp.
Lily barely had time to react before Hes’ arms were bound around her neck. Happily, she hugged the girl back, clogging the hallway’s single-form traffic. Arms still around her best friend, Lily sidestepped completely into the train’s compartment and shut the door behind her, letting the flow of students return to normal. “Hes!” She breathed, pulling away only to look the girl in the face. “I’ve missed you!”
